Very unprofessional. The team makes mistakes on orders frequently and will do little to fix their errors. As they are the most convenient option for most office staff/trades workers they take this for granted. Seaspan should strongly consider instituting a better alternative.

Over priced and undersized portions. Very little healthy food options for employees. Some fresh fruit would be nice

Don and his team at Seabreeze probably do their best. It is no task easy to run a staff canteen for both office and operations staff members. (Quality and prices have been consistent since before the pandemic.) However, they do have a captive market with no other options in walking distance (30 minutes) of Vancouver Shipyards. Unfortunately, there is no way to provide constructive feedback except for this channel. This is the feedback I have from working as a contractor from 2019 to present.1. There is the impression that the margins of quality and cost have been fully stretched and closely examined.2. Same menu & specials for the last 4 years.3. The food quality does not merit the $10 charge for a main course.4. All snacks and side dishes are overpriced (by 30% on average)5. No loyalty card system except for coffee’s which taste weak.6. Charges are often waived for senior members of staff. In front of other staff members.7. The payment menu for credit card payment requires passing several screens in order to select the no tip option. No options for American Express.Arguably a contract like this should be re- tendered every couple of years in order to maintain best value for Seaspan. This would also reduce any complacency concerns from the incumbent provider.
