I've always claimed to dislike cardio, but Salted Cycle has me questioning my life choices! This is the first form of purposeful, long-form cardio I've willingly done—and keep coming back to. I'm still in shock that I've completed 25 classes, especially considering my last cardio attempt was in grade 5 track & field?. My first class at Salted Cycle was a beast, but with some much-needed encouragement from instructor Lilly, I gave it another shot. Now, 25 classes later, I’m hooked (even though a recent unrelated back injury has me sidelined for now).
The vibe and community from the instructors, front desk staff and fellow spinners is what keeps me returning. You leave each session drenched in sweat. I've particularly enjoyed Lilly’s, Jared’s, and Olivia’s classes, and I can't wait to try the classes offered by the other instructors once I’m back in action. Salted Cycle, you might just turn me into a cardio lover after all!?

I always enjoy the classes at Salted! The music is great and the environment is so energetic and positive, it’s a great place to start (or end) the day! I have really enjoyed trying all of the instructors classes, all of them have been very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Salted if you’re looking for a new workout studio on the North Shore!

If you haven’t tried the salted cycle, you are totally missing out. This is the best spin class in Vancouver as long as I know. All of instructors are amazing and kind. I love their music selections too. I feel great every time I go there.

It doesn’t get better than this place! Team, classes, atmosphere. All of it is 11/10! It’s not just a form of working out, it’s a lifestyle and mentality shift and it’s so beautiful! Bravo to such a great place with a great team and workout!

I would not waste my time with this studio. If you're non-white they'll accuse you of being desperate, which is the worst accusation one can ever make. Don't support these unprofessional unstable clowns

After spending years moving, I struggled finding a new spin studio in my area. Once we were settled in North Van, I decided to try a few and Salted really stuck out for me! I used to do spin class for years but it had been years since my last class prior to Salted so I felt totally new again. I didn't feel pressured to have to be the best or feel embarrassed if I messed up or needed to sit down - all that matters is that I show up and try, and that's something the instructors are sure to share with you as well. It can be intimating starting at a new spin studio but I didn't feel that at all when starting at Salted and now I'm there every week! :)

Spin at Salted is like a religious experience. Love the loud music, riding to the beat, and the dark & moody ambiance. Becky is an incredible instructor! Her energy is infectious. She's fun and supportive, and her motivational talks are always inspiring. Check it out for an awesome cardio workout- you'll be hooked!

The best studio around. I’ve ridden at my fair share of studios and Salted comes out on top every single time!! The best team and atmosphere ever.

I unfortunately had a bad experience:
- They were aware that it was my first time there but I was only given a quick two liner intro of where everything is. No one showed me around or gave me proper instructions. The lockers aren't straight forward and I had to quickly figure out how they work. I had come early but I still felt rushed.
- There isn't a good system of how they organize the class. Everyone swarms in as soon as the doors open and you may not be able to sit with your friends.
- The room is very stuffy and humid. They need better air conditioning. They also light up candles that don't help. I've gone to lots of other classes like hot yoga or kickboxing and the air is even better there.
- No one showed me how the equipment works. I was unaware the shoes had to click in place and only found out a few minutes after when one foot clicked in. This is a bit of a hazard and someone can get injured.
- Me and my friend could barely understand what the instructor was saying. The mic is either muffled or the instructor needs to speak more clearly. I had to follow what other people were doing majority of the time.
- I can only compare the bikes from the gym but I found these bikes to be very uncomfortable. I have been told it's normal for the seats to be uncomfortable, but the tension in the middle of the bike is in a horrible spot. My knee kept hitting it and I have so many bruises from it.
Overall, I know the employees had good intentions. They were all very friendly and the instructor had good energy and put on great music. But I found this place to have too many issues. I have another class that I have already paid for that I'm not even going to bother going to because my experience was so bad. I could get a better workout at the gym listening to my own music on comfier bikes. I think I got lucky because I was able to figure things out on my own eventually. But someone who is not as athletic or doesn't go to classes regularly would have a difficult and unpleasant time. Hopefully they fix these issues.

Best spin class studio I've been to. They respect your pace but also encourage you to push yourself. Makes you look forward to exercise. Attentive and experienced instructors. Classes with Kristi and Alexis are must, though I am sure they're all fantastic.

New to spinning. I’ve really enjoyed it here. They are so friendly at the front desk and the instructors have all been excellent. Classes are fun. I was a little scared to try it but I’m glad I did. Shannon’s classes have been really good. Great music and vibes.
