UPDATE: The owner phoned me personally in response to this review, and has outlined steps she will take to fix the problems. I'm updating from 1 star to 3 because of this, giving the benefit of the doubt. I will update again at a later date whether things actually change or not. I do hope this will be a change that benefits all their patients and customers.

Nothing but trouble with this place this past year. Since I started using them for compounding 3 or 4 years ago, it's just gone downhill. They used to be ok when Jag was there, albeit with questionable pricing, but now half the time they can't find the prescription, then they can't find the medication once it comes in from the lab.
They frequently charge the wrong amount, and the price they charge swings up and down like mad. This last time, the price was double that of Safeway for the same medication at the same dose. They've charged me the wrong amount at least half a dozen times and had to correct it. I'm still out $30 from when they charged the full amount after taking the deposit 6 months ago. (apparently couldn't understand what I meant when I contact them about it)
There are frequently delays, often causing me to be without the medication for a day or two, but this last time I waited a full 10 days to get my medication after my doctor faxed it in. I emailed and phoned (what prescription?) to confirm they would fill it. Someone phoned me a week later to reply to my email (a week!!) and they didn't even know I had also phoned. I don't know how they're allowed to run a pharmacy like this.
Unfortunately the medication from their compounding lab works better for me than that from the lab Safeway uses, so either I am stuck with them of have to try a bunch more pharmacies with possibly negative effects on my health to try find something that works as well. Incredibly frustrating. I may have to make the trek to Total Pharmacy's Burnaby location and hope they are competent - even though that one is a 30 minute drive each way instead of 8.

In this difficult squeeze of a season of respiratory illnesses we were lucky to find a pharmacy that had or were able to compound amoxicillin for our toddler. To avoid frustration and wasting time with the current shortage, we contacted a dozen local pharmacies. It was so refreshing to be able to get fast, responsive service from an e-mail address. No calling in, struggling to hear the auto phone menu directory while kid is screaming required. The prescription was filled and picked up without a sweat - one less thing to worry about, more time to focus on our kid. Thank you!

My first review was removed. Most unprofessional Pharmacist I’ve ever dealt with. I dropped my very important prescription off on a Monday needing for Wednesday and I told him he would have to special order the products needed and when I went in on Thursday he still hadn’t filled my prescriptions or ordered the special order prescriptions. When I finally got my special order prescription he didn’t explain how to use the 4 medicines which was my first time using. Also, he has yelled my confidential personal information from his back platform computer for the entire Doctors office patients to hear. I’ve called and been put on hold until the system hangs up and have to call back. Please save yourself the time and go somewhere else

Northview Pharmacy us absolutely terrible they lost 2 of my prescriptions tripled the charge for delivery
They were are disorganized to the point they end up giving the wrong prescription
Please do not use them for the sake of your own health

They advertised that they close at 2pm on Sturdays. I was here at 1:30 pm and they are already closed. Receptionist next door said they closed at 11:30 am.

Probably a good pharmacy, people seem to like it, but for a covid booster shot disorganized and understaffed. You end up standing around 20-minutes while they fill prescriptions. Not enough signage or flow on where to go to separate the pharmacy prescription clients from the covid shots. Little to no communication and a bunch of people standing with a deer in headlights look while someone just works with their head down filling scripts. If you can go somewhere else that staffs what they're collecting healthcare money from, it's a better choice than whatever this is. Be ready to put an hour aside all said and done. Bottle of Moderna is just laying there unmonitored, needles are out and unmonitored, this place doesn't instill confidence. The guy is good when you get him and administers things well when you get him. Garbage isn't cleared. Feels gross and it is unprofessional.

We are so sad to learn that Anthony is leaving his full time position at Northview Pharmacy. He is the best Pharmacist we have ever had and as seniors we have had a lot of experience with Pharmacists. As a customer we could see that Anthony was overworked. It's too bad his boss didn't recognise it too because this is a huge loss to their business. This is the only reason for the 3 star rating.
