Overpriced, poor quality items. Upon first glance this looks like a cute local store with really nice bits, but the quality of the items is so bad. I wouldn’t shop here again and the staff made me feel like I wasn’t welcome in the store.

Strangest shop I've ever been to... went in on my day off because I've never been inside. I asked the lady behind the counter about pricing and she gave me a nasty look... She was selling a tester lipbalm for 1$?
No customer service, no smiles - felt very uncomfortable. Hope the store people don't treat everyone else like that!

Very cute, sustainability-minded shop I was happy to live close to. However, after today's experience my family will not shop here again.
I love shopping at small businesses; they are crucial to the fabric of our community and tend to be much more relationship-oriented. Shopping at Mo's, I'd accepted unfriendly treatment from staff (who don't even say hello unless I say hello to them, a personal pet peeve as someone who worked in customer service for ages).
However, today I tried to exchange something and was treated very rudely by a staff member who cut me off to curtly reject my request. Rather than make any attempt at responding with kindness and understanding, she blamed me for selecting the wrong item in a condescending manner.
I had hoped to get store credit for this $22 item and buy several more things. Failing that, I could have also accepted that they wouldn't take the item back IF the response was friendly and compassionate. Instead, this $22 item turned two enthusiastic customers into disappointed ex-customers. What a shame.

This is a lovely shop, great for gifts and cute homeware / lifestyle things. The staff are always super friendly and they make a great iced coffee. What a local gem.

There is some cute stuff in this store and I would come in all the time if the owner/manager wasn't so hostile. I wander in once or twice a year and every single time she makes me wish I hadn't. I don't understand why she doesn't just hire someone pleasant to deal with customers. It would be worth the extra cost to not drive away business with her surly attitude.

The coffee mug I purchased was of poor quality, as it broke after just four days of use. Upon informing them, they refused to provide either a replacement or a refund, which was quite disappointing.

I visited North Van for a week and a bit a couple springs back and found this little hidden gem! For one, the general store is wonderful and I picked up some jams while I waited for my morning coffee.The little coffee shop was the best part of the experience!The coffee was delicious, I ended up getting the barista's recommended latte. And it was to die for. Then when I obviously came back the following two days, I had the same barista and she remembered me and my order. It was absolutely wonderful.And I highly recommend skipping the other lines at the more well-know coffee places next door and coming here instead!Bonus is that you can window shop (or shop shop...) while you wait!

Had a terrible experience with Marie and Mithra. Marie sat on her phone while Mithra stumbled through the transaction- she double charged me, then “refunded” my money. I had to leave as my attempted quick transaction took over 15 minutes. I drove almost an hour home and they emailed saying they had not processed the refund properly, and I had to drive back. When I drove back, Marie gave me attitude, said that *I* had screwed everything up, it was all my fault and how dare I try to bully them into giving me a refund. This is after we had already spent money in the store. I asked her if this is how she normally treats customers, and she said we weren’t welcome anyways.She processed the refund after continuing to be rude.

Workers here aren’t friendly at all lol don’t come here and expect good customer service. Just go online to Aliexpress and buy their inventory straight from the source.
