We have moved too many times to count. Moving is hard, and finding good movers is even harder. However, our luck turned last summer when we came across Island Movers. We have now used them three times already (don't ask), and they've been consistently great every time.
Despite their name, which made me think they are on Vancouver Island, two moves were intra-Mainland moves, and one was from the Mainland to Vancouver Island. Two were small and one was huge.
The list: hard working, smart, organized, fair pricing, careful, well-equipped, well-staffed, polite, cheerful, patient, great at assembling things that had to be disassembled, and, imagine this, no refusals to carry IKEA furniture, lol!
We especially appreciated Tom, our teams' leader.
All that said, we are hoping never to move again. Heh. Hope springs eternal. But if we do find ourselves going through this misery yet again, we'll call Island Movers.

Island Movers moved me from Victoria to the mainland- team was very professional, showed up when they said they would, took good care of my stuff. They stored it for 3 weeks for me until I was able to get into my new home, and then promptly delivered it upon my arrival in Vancouver. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I’ve used Island movers twice and it’s been such an amazing experience both times. They’ve taken me from Victoria to the mainland and then 2 years later back to Victoria. They always offer the best prices, by far.
Really I’d never use anyone else.

I had a great experience with this company. I needed to have a couch moved from the island to Vancouver. They were able to add me on to a move that was already happening which made the cost reasonable. The communication was fantastic, Cass quickly responded to any questions I had. They confirmed the day before the move and contacted me when they were on their way to do the pick up and drop off. They made the move so easy. I would definitely recommend!

Island Movers did an excellent job of moving my family from Vancouver to Victoria. They were professional, very competent, and great at communicating with me along the way. They packed up all our stuff, disassembled furniture, delivered it an reassembled, all on a very tight timeline. Everything went exactly as planned and we had a completely stress free move. Highly recommend.

I used Island Movers to move from Victoria to Vancouver. I’ve had negative moving experiences in the past so was impressed with the service I received. Tom and Phoenix were efficient and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to others.

We hired Island Movers to help us relocate our business from Victoria to Vancouver. The team loaded our office in Victoria, took everything over on the ferry, and unloaded it once we got to Vancouver. It honestly felt like our exhaustion was melting away with each box they placed down. The "team lead', Tom was incredible! He was such a leader and was kind, patient, strong, efficient and just seemed to be the glue to getting everything done and well. From an accommodation/ booking standpoint, Island Movers also made it extremely easy. Angela was able to answer all of our questions and made sure she understood the items we would be moving. She was able to find a truck for us to work around our schedule and super last minute timeline!I will never not have movers again in my life. Thank-you all so much!!!

I was very stressed about packing and moving to the island and worried that we wouldn't be able to finish loading the truck on time to catch the ferry. Tom and Phoenix reassured me that everything would be okay and it did! Extremely positive and patient guys, they did an amazing job, fast and efficient, but also careful. They didn't leave until they made sure that everything was placed at the right places at the new home. Angela, who assisted me with the booking and quote, was also very helpful and quick to respond. Love the customer first attitude! I'd highly recommend them!
