I attended the Multicultural Dinner. Very warm event, good community. It was interesting to watch how the quiet auction goes.

HUC fosters an incredible sense of community, for both those who are Christian, and those like myself, who are not. There are year-round community programs, an annual "gigantic" flea market in the fall, an open community choir, children's programs, etc.

A very welcoming church. I went there for my first time in 1988 and still attending. If you want to help people in this North Shore community this is the place to be. They have a very open concept and welcome every one. Love and a helpful hand is always around the corner for you.

Highlands United Church is rich in the Christmas Spirit lending their gym available this year for the distribution of Christmas Hampers for those North Shore residents that are in need. Many thanks and Merry Christmas.

Went to this church several times to see the Ambleside Symphony Orchestra. The acoustic of the church is fantastic! Probably better then some of the theaters around the town. The parking space is very limited but no wonder why. The Edgemont Village is just getting busier and busier.I had privilege to listen some extraordinary Ambleside concerts in the last 2 years or so. With Nicolas Krusek lead this Orchestra reached the professional level where the $20 ticket volunteer fee is just way too low and almost discourteous. Mr. Krusek conducting without a score and he does it beautifully. Of course you can find a false note here and there but those little errors made this Orchestra for even more authentic. Fantastic team with amazing people. Must see!

Its a very nice Church, it feels like a country church it's homey, people are friendly, and it offers a lot. I go there for music together classes for parents with young children and they are wonderful.

Small parking area but parking available around location. Multiple floors. Large courtyard. Lots of rooms to hold events.
