We recently had the pleasure of working with Action Interiors for the renovation of our kitchen and master bathroom in November/December 2023, and the results are nothing short of extraordinary.
Our kitchen was a dated maple with an awkward "U-shaped" counter configuration (see photos), but it has now been transformed into a modern, spacious, and functional space (see the “after” photos).
Samantha of Action Interiors guided us through the entire process and was an absolute joy to work with. Her efficiency, pleasant demeanor, and attention to detail made our renovation seamless and enjoyable. From the initial consultation to the final touches, Samantha and her team at Action Interiors demonstrated a commitment to excellence that exceeded our expectations.
One of the standout features of our kitchen renovation was the decision to repurpose our existing cabinets, which were wood and of decent quality. Action Interiors expertly painted them with a white lacquer finish and the quality of their work is top-notch. The flawless paint job was achieved by taking the cabinet doors to their shop – and this process highlights the meticulous care they put into every aspect of the project.
The reconfiguration of the kitchen layout, including the creation of a central island, not only modernized the space but also made it feel significantly larger. The removal of dated tile floors and the installation of matching hardwood seamlessly connects the kitchen with the rest of our home. Action Interiors' commitment to sustainability was evident, as they successfully transformed our kitchen --- our kitchen cabinets didn’t end up in a landfill and we love this!
What truly sets Action Interiors apart is their adherence to timelines. Samantha provided us with a detailed schedule at the start of the project, and to our amazement, the project was completed exactly as promised— even finishing one day ahead of schedule! This level of punctuality in construction work is unheard of and truly reflects the professionalism of Action Interiors.
In addition to the kitchen, we entrusted Action Interiors with repainting our master bathroom vanity, transitioning it from a dark brown to a fresh white. The results were equally impressive, showcasing their versatility and attention to detail.
Action Interiors is a local, family-run business and dealing locally was important to us. We also had the pleasure of interacting with Samantha's father, Randy, who, like his daughter, was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Action Interiors for their exceptional craftsmanship, commitment to sustainability, and unparalleled professionalism. Our renovated spaces now reflect our style and preferences, thanks to the expertise and dedication of the entire Action Interiors team.

They did our kitchen a 3 years ago and I held off sending in a review of them just because I was so angry and disappointed with the quality of their work. When they started to paint the cabinets they did not even wipe them off never mind cleaning them, no sanding or scuffing the previous surface, they painted over anything that was there. They painted over hardware, hair, bits of food debris. They just butchered the kitchen. I would not let them paint a cardboard box for me at this point. 6 months to 1 years later the cabinets are all chipped and flaking off as the paint never adhered to the surface. The doors themselves were done properly as they were sent off to a professional cabinet painter that did the work properly in a shop but not Randy and Susanne. I would not even want them to come redo their poor work I would use a professional painter who has the right spray equipment as these guys came equipped with only a paint brush.

Amazing quality. We had action repaint our shaker cabinets to a beautiful van duusen blue and they turned out amazing. Two tone with white top and blue bottom cabinets. We get a lot of compliments on how they look. Action used quality paint as water and other spills do not affect the cabinets at all. Highly recommended

We contacted Action in February to renovate our laundry room and a bathroom. Samantha was excellent to work with. She brought samples of materials to us such that we never had to visit a showroom. She was very responsive if we had second thoughts on an issue. When work began, there were no long delays and communication about when workers were going to be onsite was excellent. The project was finished by the start of May so it was quick. This is probably not the least expensive way to go but it is a one stop design and contractor service and so is extremely user friendly.Services: Granite countertop installation

We have used Action Interior on two occasions in two houses. At the start of the process Suzanne provided a prompt estimate for the project. After we accepted the pricing, the process moved quickly and smoothly. The doors were removed and Sam picked out new modern looking handles to replace our dated ones. The on site painting was carefully done over the course of two days. The cabinet doors were installed with the new handles a short time later. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and the professional attitude of the company. Our kitchen looks amazing! The transformation is incredible - an old, dark kitchen is now a modern, fresh looking one in white Chantilly Lace.
