They were upfront about when they could get it in, they delivered within that time, helped me sort out transport, and fixed an the issues I had at a reasonable cost. The owner is local and the communication was great.They have loaner cars available (one wasn't available to me at the time) but they offered to work around the loaner car schedules.This is my new place to have my car serviced. Plus it's right across from a nice cafe.”
“I went to peter and dave for my old 1995 bmw, they had diagnosed that my automatic transmission line was leaking. They found a very fast and affordable solution (parts were hard to find!). They also put in new seats for me when I asked if they were able to do that. I now take my "newer" BMW to them for all of its needs - Regular oil changes, transmission service, new air filters, brakes, door lock actuator, and a blower motor concern - they're not just a transmission shop. These guys are so polite, fast, reliable and always squeeze me in, they also show you all your old parts so you know they're honest people. The lady who answers the phone is super sweet too! Highly recommend Sidney transmission, My whole family uses them and we will continue to be loyal customers because you simply cannot beat them!”
“These guys are awesome. My check engine light came on today in my relatively new Plug-in Hybrid. The dealership couldn't get me in even for diagnostics for 6 weeks. I called Steve's Service this morning and they had me swing by this afternoon. They ran diagnostics, told me what it looked like was wrong (and reassured me that it wasn't an immediate emergency, it wasn't dangerous to drive my car) - gave me great advice on how to take care of it (that included going somewhere else for work, because another shop would be able to get me in for work sooner than Steve's Service could schedule), and then sent me on my way - WITHOUT charging me an arm and a leg. The service fee was better than reasonable. The people there were friendly. This will be my family's new go-to for vehicle needs.”

“Phenomenal service from a small, independently owned shop.My grandfather had his car serviced here for many years up until he recently stopped driving due to his age and health. A battery that had been installed in the past died and wouldn’t take a charge (this is something that happens occasionally - nothing to do with the shop itself), Brandon was happy to exchange it at no charge under the warranty - zero attitude or headache.I worked here over a decade ago pumping gas before going into the mechanical trades myself. The staff are phenomenal and have stayed throughout the years, a sign of a good business. I looked over my grandfathers service records and was very impressed by the extremely fair billing and sound advice he was provided, never any upselling or overcharging.I’d highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a honest/skilled mechanic on the peninsula, they are worth the drive even if you live in Victoria!”
