It's safeway.
Dropping some stars due obnoxious security who stare at me and follow me nearly every time I come in. I've been shopping here for YEARS. I spend hundreds of dollars a month at this location, yet I'm viewed as a thief nearly every time I come in. If I could easily get around I'd shop somewhere else. I might make plans to do so regardless out of sheer annoyance.

It's an amazing experience every time you walk in. Security is usually staring at their phone or talking to friends. You never see them walking the store doing their job. The milk fridge has stunk of rancid milk for over a week. They can't even clean up or do jobs simpler then they are.

I shop at this Safeway location every week. The staff here are amazing and I always have a great experience. I would like to give a special thank you to Yvonne. She always makes an effort to ask me about my day and has a very positive attitude. I appreciate Yvonne’s outstanding customer service and always look forward to seeing her. ?

I am extremely disappointed with this bakery. There is a constant fruit fly infestation, and it's alarming to see them flying around the fresh goods. Recently, I've noticed them packaging food with flies still inside the boxes. This is not only unhygienic but also a serious health hazard. I will be documenting this with pictures until they take action to resolve this issue. Avoid this place if you value your health!
These are pictures from different visits, you guys should be held accountable for public sanitation and safety.
This is happening every single day so it makes me believe nobody cares about what the customers eat.

I want to talk about starbucks , specifically to the starbucks manger things that you need to work upon and its coming from someone who have worked at starbucks from past 4 years
No one was wearing aprons
Everyone was robotic
There were no greeting hi hello or anything
Workers were wearing jewellery
Dress code was not followed
I requested for a customisation and the manager argued back instead of doing it
Staff needs training upon drinks preparation
The most absent minded was the starbucks manager herself.
Please fix your store , the audacity to talk back and argue comes from if you perfect in the first place , thanks i hope it will help
@safeway manager i hope it helps to increase your sales and help with reducing shrink per year thanks.

I am not sure whats going on with the customer service of this store but lately i am not happy with whats going on. Last night i was shopping for groceries and the cashier named SIMRAN was helping me. First impression didnt even greet me and proceed right away with my purchases and once everything is scanned she didnt bother to ask me if i needed a bag or no even though she can see that i am carrying my laptop, purse and some shoppings. She just said is it on card? Then i said yes and at the end of her station i was waiting for her to give me a bag and even with looking at her shes not getting it and she processed the next customer and i told her i need a bag. Her response is she gave me a smirk face reaction and she said I ASK YOU IF YOU NEEDED A BAG and i told her if i heard you loud and clear i would say yes. After i pay the bag she just hand it to me and she just let me pack my groceries without any help even though its visible that i have multiple items in my hands. This is unacceptable if i want to pack my own groceries or do a self service option then i should just went to self check out but because i needed some help i line up with a regular cashier to assist me..
My bottom lines are:
Exceptional customer service is expected on a higher end grocery store like safeway.
Dont smirk or give attitude to clients you pay cheque comes from us. Some of us have tough jobs and one of our stress reliever is to do grocery shopping so please dont make it more stressful for us.
Are you tired? We are all tired. My job is also tiring but that doesnt give me an excuse to treat someone bad. I used to work in this store in my early 20s and i am very confident with my reference.
Respect begets respect. Treat people how you want to be treated. Simran is a young lady and i am not sure if shes recognizing my age gap with her. Regardless i start with her being civil and respectful.
If you guys want to be supported by local clients like me, please do some improvement. The world is already stressful we dont need another one
3rd Complaint
to the safeway manager
i am writing to express concern regarding my recent shopping experience at your store. this marks my third complaint. unfortunately, your cashiers have consistently demonstrated poor service, failing to offer assistance with bagging my groceries despite transactions exceeding $300. The purpose of utilizing the regular check out is to receive help, which i did not receive. when i requested for assistance, the cashier informed me that packing is not a service provided for customers. i kindly suggest that safeway reevaluate its customer service standards to better meet customer needs

I typically go to this Safeway rather than making the trek to Superstore because Safeway bag your groceries and Superstore doesnt. On my recent trips to Safeway, they have not bagged my groceries and demanded I do my own bagging despite purchasing a new bag from them. I don't use the self checkout at any store and I don't want to bag my own groceries or scan my own puchases because I don't work there. I will now have to use the Save On more often.....

This is a good Safeway, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because the New West Station isnt nearly as family friendly as it used to be. They removed the playground outside and are doing a poor job of keeping transients out of the area.

Probably the best quality of food of the 3 big chains I frequent.
