The manager is super defensive and accepts no responsibility. My sister in law called them when I was in the room with her to talk about a dress that she had bought was crazy mis measured. As someone who's worked in customer service my whole life I was completely baffled with how the manager spoke with a concerned customer. Looking through these reviews, i see the same theme. I also see how a customer has asked to have their measurements taken down but they won't unless the client takes down her review. Again, baffling to someone who cares about good customer service. Anyways, after seeing this i thought I should post about my experience.

The dresses at Bella Sposa are beautiful and well-made, but be cautious if you need any tailoring done. I bought a dress for $350, but the tailoring costs were almost as much as the dress itself. I was quoted $283 + GST just for shortening the straps, and hemming all around. When I expressed that the price was too high and opted to handle it elsewhere, they still charged me $56 just for the tailoring appointment! I know that it takes time to see any alteration but 56$, it's just too much and they never said that this appointment had a cost!
So, if you're considering alterations, the appointment has a COST! Think twice before proceeding, as the costs can add up quickly.

Posted my daughter's measurements online in response to her review, extremely unprofessional behavior, straight out of mean girls playbook. The alterations they made to fix their sizing mistake were awful. (Dress they ordered was a size 18, scroll around to find their response) They won't take down her measurements unless she removes her review. If you would like that kind of information kept private I would avoid this shop.

My sister recently left a review. Because she cant respond to your reply I will attest to the inaccuracy of the response. The dress size was in fact 18. If you indeed measured her as a 16 and ordered a 16 then why does the dress say 18. The tag was still on when she brought it home. And they had even admitted to ordering the dress wrong. They had said "we did not account for the corset back". I was my sister's date to prom. My dress that was from David's bridal and was 500 including alterations and 2 years old fit me better than my sister's fit her. For the price of the dress and alterations it was not worth it at all. The cups were way too big and the corset back was so sad because it could only be worn when it was completely done up. The whole night I was tugging at the dress and pulling up the straps. This is even after my mom took 3 inches off the straps and did her best to take in the dress. The worst part of this though is the lack of accountability. Also there is no respect of privacy here. I find it strange how willing you are to give up a clients measurements publicly. Pretty sad and unprofessional honestly. Buyer beware I would take my dress shopping elsewhere.

When I had ordered my grad dress back in October they had measured me to be a size 16, keep in mind I had gone to many other places and had been trying on 8-12. It sounded wrong but I figured they’re the experts. It wasn’t until April that the horror sank in, they called me in for a fitting and the dress did not fit, it was not even close to fitting, the corset was closed completely in the back and if it wasn’t held on by the straps it would’ve fell right off. The cups of the dress were massive and unfortunately I do not have size 16 cups so there was an awkward gap in between. When I finally brought the dress back home the tag said size 18, EIGHTEEN. The cherry on top of it all, was they made my aunt pay $350 in alterations to fix their mistake, they added boning so the dress wouldn’t sag and they tried but failed to fix the cups. We had to take matters into our own hands and made the dress kinda fit after my mom spent all night alternating it. My prom night was filled with people pulling up my dress for me and fixing the straps which kept falling down. Overall 1 star really describes how I feel and my experience.

Such a good experience!! My associate was so helpful and in tune of how each dress made me feel. I ended up going for a dress she picked for me over all the ones I had chosen! And it has pockets!!!

Bella Sposa was absolutely fantastic! My daughter had an appointment to try on grad dresses and I couldn’t be happier with their customer service. Our consultant, Faith, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, helpful and she made the appointment fun.

Amazing experience. I went to shop for a prom dress with some friends. Beautiful selection ranging from $300-1300 or so. Most around $700. Joline was really helpful and so friendly! She helped do up the dresses, was really sweet, and there was no pressure to buy right away. I was worried it would be intimidating, but not at all. Took my time, just browsing different colours and styles. No appointment needed! They can alter the dress absolutely any way you want to - different straps, sizing, changing mesh colour. The only catch is that they don't allow photos. Otherwise, wonderful place, selection, and service!

If I could give zero stars I would. The whole experience from beginning to end was horrible. It was the first appointment of the morning dress shopping with my bridesmaids. They open at 10 am and had a different entrance for the bridesmaids dresses, but the doors were still locked. We then walked to the bridal store entrance to let them know that we have arrived for our appointment but the doors were still locked on the other side. The moment we mentioned about our appointment the lady at the front desk doesn’t greet us in a professional manner but just asked what we needed with the worst attitude. They told us to walk back and that the doors will be open soon. At this point it was already 10:10.Because we had this appointment booked months in advanced my sister was told when making the reservation not to be 10 minutes late or else they can’t accommodate us.Once the young lady (Faith) unlocked the door she walks away goes behind the desk and doesn’t make eye contact. My bridal party and I walk in and say hi but wasn’t too sure what the next steps were as I know at other places they greet you and tell you to take your shoes off.We stand there for another 2 minutes and slowly took our jackets off. There is a sign that mentions to scan a QR code to sign in and once we started to pull our cameras out we were finally greeted to come in.The consultant was very monotoned, wasn’t happy and never smiled. She spoke very quietly and we couldn’t understand a thing she was saying. They also don’t have a lot of options for bridesmaids dresses so I would NOT recommend this place.Overall, we felt more like an inconvenience rather than an expected appointment. This experience was not the best.

I loved my prom dress and the alteration lady. However I can’t say I loved the customer service experience. My first mistake was not having my mom come in with me because as a teenager, I’m used to ppl taking advantage of me or being rude in these kind of stores. The sales associates were all nice however, the actual owner of the story was very rude. My friends were terrified to go back to her for alterations and honestly so was I. Once she realized who I was over the phone her tone and demeanour completely changed to the rude store manager I was dealing with earlier. Respectfully, I’m not sure what she was going though, but she needs to work on how she treats people, especially customers who are buying from her business, because the way she’s doing it right now is totally unacceptable. And if she was my sales associate the first time I honestly probably wouldn’t have got my dress.

The service at this store was amazing! My parents and I were shopping for my prom dress and through the windows of this shop were so many beautiful gowns, so we decided to go in the shop. Just as we walked in the shop was closing but Edie the lady at the front let us come in and take a look at the dresses. Not only did she let us take a look, she helped me try some on, and she created a portfolio for me as well.

A truly beautiful and chic store and environment. The most helpful and sweet staff that really put in effort to help us find the right dress. There is a wide selection at the store from older, more modest styles to the newer more detailed styles. The colour range of dresses was also very appealing. The whole process of the purchase plus the resizing was very quick. Highly recommended!!! We thought we couldn’t find a dress until we found this amazing store.

I ordered my dress in September 2021 for my high school graduation and they just called me now on April 18th 2022 telling me that the manufacturers in china aren’t able to ship it and that it won’t be here on time for my graduation on May 27th. They then told me that my dress was made and that it was coming. Then they never gave me any discount on alterations after it wasn’t fitted correctly. The boning fell apart and the lace applications fell off, during my grad walk. BellaSposa is a terrible place to buy a dress I would never trust them again. Especially the manager Edie.On another note, three different managers gave me three different stories about where my dress was and what was happening. I also called another bridal store to ask their opinion on the situation and the first thing that the woman said to me on the phone was “I’m so sorry that happened to you”. Never once did I get an apology from any of the 2 managers I spoke to.Responding to Edie’s response:Edie you know all of that is a lie you made no accommodations for me (my dress was over 1000 plus over 350 for alterations. Idk what kind of deal that is but not the one you promised my mother on the phone) and again never gave me - the one wearing the dress- an apology for my dress being 8+ weeks late and only getting my dress 3 days before my grad. All you cared about in the end was holding up your end of the contract and making yourself look good. You have terrible customer service. You are a super patronizing individual and you do not deserve your title as a manager or the award you got in 2021 for your customer service. You should be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed about the way you treated me and my mother.

Lovely shop with lovely people, dresses in all sizes and types, there is something for everyone. The people who help you are very helpful and have lots of knowledge on fabrics and types of dresses and can help you find something that suits you!
