I worked mostly with Nick Hartmann and he is so easy to do business with. This company carries great quality product and fair pricing. The furniture I purchased in 2023 which is being used in my very high turnover rental unit still looks brand new!
Delivery of the furniture to both of my condos was carried out by Nick and his team, they have done an impeccable job on moving pieces to putting the storage beds together.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. Hartmann and Co will be my go to place if I ever need to get new furniture or re-upholstering my older stuff.”

“Flying Fish is a kitchen supply store but more. Great place to explore for some unique items not seen anywhere else. In this store found many interesting home products. Would definitely return to this store, to find occasion cards, gifts selection ideas, some furniture, many home products including dishes, utensils, glassware and designs we liked. Even different spices and sauces, didn't look to close at the selections.”
“Went to Sleep Country looking to try the new foam beds. We’ve been wanting to try them for some time, but hadn’t made the jump. Walked in, Judi welcomed us right away. Told Judi we were just browsing. She gave us the information we needed to maximize our experience. Tried several and fell in love with a particular one. “We originally met with Alba who is very thoughtful and knowledgeable. Llana came to our home and did a design consultation. She was efficient, and knowledgeable and came up with some great ideas. We then met with both Alba and Llana together to look at our final design. They patiently spent two hours with us going over fabric and other options and went out of their way to answer our questions. They were very excited for us and clearly love what they do. These kind ladies are just wonderful to deal with!”

I feel they go the extra mile. All the Urban Barns I’ve been into are such beautiful stores. I have just moved to Nanaimo and we have renovated. So I will be doing some more shopping soon here.”
