Recommended to me by a couple of my coworkers, I took my van here to take care of an oil leak.
Alan and the rest were excellent and the total cost of work was reasonable and less than I was prepared for.
We also took another vehicle there about a month ago. Alan helped to get it back up and running as well as gave us great advice and options how we could proceed. Everything coincided with what we knew and expected.
Will I use them again… absolutely.
Would I recommend them… absolutely.

I left my car in front of the shop at night to have it repaired in the morning, and left the keys at the reception desk as requested by the craftsman. When I came in the morning, they said horrible things to me on the phone, and last night someone wearing a hoodie threw a rock at the back window of my car, breaking it. Nothing was taken though.
When I told the craftsman that I could just have the window repaired, the store employee told me that they wouldn't do it and that I had to fix it myself.
Even if I ask for recommendations or guides, I only understand how to use it for used pages on the web.
I thought he was very professional, but I'm disappointed.
The store is on Vancouver Island, but if you're around here, be sure to go check it out in Tofino or Juan de Fuca! !

Absolutely amazing Mechanic! I previously took my car to another Mechanic and they were not able to diagnose and fix the problem, but Departure Bay Automotive did!! AND in a timely manner! Thank you for your honest and professional opinions aswell. I finally found my go-to mechanic in town! Highly recommend this team.
