I'm very sorry to report my dissatisfaction with your shop. 2 visits in 2 months 1500.00 (1200 for testing pulling valve cover and head plus 280.00 on next visit to test and replace leaking carb gasket) still had irregular idle, you were not able to correct issues. Now it is a 1964 Oldsmobile so no computers to tell you what to repair. I picked car up on Aug. 9th after 2nd visit started ok but rough idle in gear at stop lights, got home opened the hood CYLINDER 8 plug wire off completely??? You billed me for a carb gasket when there was one in the trunk, had you thought to call and ask me as all gaskets were there in July and leftvat your garage. You blame the rough downshift to first gear on transmission needs work, yet I discovered the Throttle linkage adjustment to transmission was not tight??? Tightening this linkage adjustment to its maximum position and my car shifts exactly how it used to no more stuttering. This linkage controls shifting in the HydroTurbomatic transmission and it has fully corrected the stuttering downshift and my idle. CJhoke still not quite functioning correctly, but I can live with it.
No one seems to know what's up except other '64 Oldsmobile owners.

Called in for quote for rotors and brake estimate. Was told worst case scenario cost and booked appointment. Dropped car off and when picking up was told they only did the brake pads as rotors were ok.
Thinking I saved some money not replacing something that wasn’t needed I had to call back as brakes were squeaking quite loudly. They said to bring it back and they would look at it to see if they can fix.
When picking it up it was explained the rotors had a ridge where the old brake pads wore and the new ones were larger contact causing the excessive squeaking. They tried to chamfer to improve but still the squeaking is excessive. When picking up the 2nd time it was shared that the rotors were not available quick enough when we first brought it in and the cost of the rotors was much higher than the worst case scenario budget I was told. Also car was retuned with excessive dust covering all over the rims that I had to wipe down and was very messy.
Originally no one called and asked what I wanted to do they just changed the pads despite the condition of the rotors. Now I have a squealing vehicle and pads are wearing unevenly and likely will have to do premature brake pad replacement along with new rotors that should have been done in the first place. Purpose was to compare price and cost of the same job from the dealership and use local company that said they could do it for less. Turns out they could not and actually would be more expensive than dealership and wasted $650 doing only part of the job with destroying new pads when rotors were clearly not ok. More communication should have been shared when they realized they could not get the rotors in time and doing the pads on their own creating all these problems.

Left a message by email stating when the car would arrive. Made a phone call and the MCM staff told me it couldn't be done today. They just got my message. There staff started on another car cause they didnt get my message that i sent 36 hrs prior. They wanted to rebook me for two weeks out like this was my fault and I should go to the bottom of the list. It was an hour job for the job. Not sure what the problem was to fit a hour in on another day. You all have such a good Google review. Why would you all mess it up? I phoned another shop. They got me in the same day cause they said it would take an hour we can get you going. They did just that. I am speechless.

Was looking for a reputable garage to do a repair that's quite a common problem for the model of truck I own. After doing research and talking with several shops I chose Mission City motors. I was quoted a price that was fair and in line with the research I had done.made an appointment and got it done and was only charged about half of what they quoted. How often does that happen! Highly recommend
