Came here after reading a few off road and Toyota forums recommendations, everyone said that these people will not force you to do repairs that are not needed and it is absolutely true. They are friendly, patient and thorough.
Will be back for my next service. Thanks Brandon and Jordan for easing my worries about my truck.

ignorant middle-age shop owner with a mid-life crisis has the audacity to mock people's hard work when they lost their job over covid 19 and just out of high school. but has no problem defending rusted out rust buckets for 10K+. delusional shop owner, maybe stop huffing brake cleaner. but, "who cares"?

Excellent work. They were able to solve a high idle issue with my first gen tacoma i've been having that two other shops (including a toyota dealership) were not able to. A bit out of the way if your not from the area, but it's worth the drive.

Called for a rough estimate on a certain job. Called numerous other shops and talked to different people to get an understanding on what needs to be done. Was quoted more than double more than anyone else and when I asked the lady if she was sure she said yes. Please put more knowledgeable people behind your desk. It will get you more Business

In 2023 I was faced with a big decision. Buy a brand-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma, or rebuild the engine (to address a leaky head gasket) on my ‘original owner’ 2004 Tacoma. I had put over 450,000km on my trusty ’04 Tacoma and had always maintained it meticulously; I loved this truck! I did my research, and all the forums and reviews led me to Ryan at Disturbed Industries. After meeting Ryan I was immediately impressed – true to all the reviews Ryan was considerate, passionate about his work, and VERY knowledgeable so I went ‘all in’ on this major repair (>$10K).Ryan completely rebuilt the engine (new head gasket, pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, cylinder heads, all drivebelts and seals, new exhaust gasket, thermostat & carrier bearing (and more)). Ryan then went above and beyond and noticed and solved a problem that had been plaguing me for over 50,000km (Note: two previous mechanics hadn’t been able to find or fix the issue - it pulled gently to the left upon braking). Ryan noticed the issue immediately on his post-rebuild test/break-in drive and engaged me in a solution. He replaced the ball joints, knock-sensor harness alignment sleeves (some welding required) and the bushings, and this long-standing enigmatic problem was finally completely fixed. Finally, during the repair Ryan advised me that my previous mechanic (Victoria Transmission) had unfortunately (with no disclosure) installed some non-OEM parts (Luke clutch/flywheel, and Gates timing belt/water pump kit). After just 20,000km these parts were already having issues (for comparison, I had previously driven over 430,000km with the factory original Aisin clutch assembly)! Ryan advised me to replace these inferior non-OEM parts (i.e., re-do $3,500 of work done at Victoria Transmission in 2021) to replace and re-install his recommended OEM parts (Aisin/Toyota). I did some research; it supported Ryan’s advice (these non-OEM parts should never have been installed by Victoria Transmission – they had wasted my money!). I bit the bullet and followed Ryan’s advice as the non-OEM parts were accessible anyway (for the engine rebuild). I really appreciated Ryan’s audit, and his correction of the work done by another shop, as quality and reliability is of utmost importance. As a biologist I work remotely a LOT, and I need to trust my Tacoma completely.Throughout the engine-rebuild/repair process Ryan repeatedly demonstrated a high degree of integrity, was consistently transparent, showed passion for his work and paid attention to quality and reliability of the work he performed. The overwhelmingly positive reviews and testimonials were ‘spot-on’ and well-deserved!As soon as I picked up my rebuilt truck I was in love with the difference after his work – I cancelled my order for a new 2024 Tacoma and am looking forward to many years (and miles) ahead on my trusty 2004 Tacoma. I stalled on writing this review, as I wanted some time and miles on the rebuilt engine, and after a few months I remain VERY impressed by the work Ryan did. I’m a die-hard fan of Disturbed Industries!!!! Thanks Ryan (and team)!!!
