This is by far the best commercial campground/RV park I've ever seen. All the sites are private and huge. The people who run the park were extremely kind and helpful especially when our dog escaped. They spread the word and were instrumental in her happy return. I can't recommend it enough.

Great spot to camp. Showers and laundry are hard to come by when camping so it was super nice.

Within easy walking distance of Masset! This is a very clean and well maintained park. It’s a busy campground so booking a reservation we’ll in advanced is advised. A 30 amp full service site is $50 CAD/night!

Had a great stay at this campground in May 2023. The owners were super welcoming and gracious. It was nice to be tucked into the trees away from the wind. The bathrooms were very clean and the water for showers was nice and hot. The showers are coin operated and worth every penny in my opinion. Great location too!We had an issue with a local thief, likely a regular at the campsite, who likes to take items from the campers. The thief took our precious pepper shaker in the middle of the night; we were totally dismayed! The hosts were quick to suggest who the likely suspect was (a local raven/known thief). They posted a "Wanted Ad" and asked the locals to locals to keep an eye out! We left the island without our shaker but were contacted two weeks later when it was returned to our campsite. The owners offered to mail it to us and they did! Amazing!Next time we are on the island we will stay here again. Thank you!

Great full service RV sites, practically right in the rainforest, but no danger tree branches. Laundry facilities are good. Easy to find, and easy to maneuver vehicles around. Good rates, nice neighbors.

The campsites are amazing. The driveway into the is quite deep so you feel very secluded. Cheryl and Steve who are running the RV park or extremely friendly and kind. This place is extremely peaceful and we are extremely grateful.

New owners just as friendly and helpful as before. They leant me a boat bumper, helped move my freezer and connected us to a local woman who baked bread and cinnamon buns. Very clean shower and bathrooms. Laundry machines work well (two dryers and two washing machines). Large trees separate campsites. Well-located just two minutes from town on the road to North Beach.

My family stayed in our trailer at Hidden Island RV Resort in early August, and we thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay at this small, quiet, and well-maintained resort. Our campsite, #10 I believe, had electricity and, like the other sites, was spacious, treed, and private. We appreciated the clean and bright bathrooms - and it was great to be able to have a hot shower after being at the beach all day (4 loonies for 4 minutes). The hosts were very kind and helpful, too. We considered spending a couple of nights at Agate Beach Campground (provincial) just to break up our visit, but after hearing (and observing) how windy and cool the exposed sites there could be, we decided to make the more sheltered Hidden Island our only home away from home. We used the resort as our base and dropped our trailer to explore the area more freely. While we spent most of our time on North Beach and in the Masset area, we also travelled to the central and southern part of Graham Island for various hikes. Nothing was very far and it was great to be able to return to Hidden Island for some creature comforts at the end of the day. For food, be sure to order fish and chips from Sandy's Seafood in Old Masset!

We planned ahead (March 2021 booking for an August stay) and had the most wonderful time in this little piece of heaven. The campground is well maintained and easy to find just outside the sweet town of Masset. Even though it's close to the main road, the tree coverage shelters campers from too much traffic and noise. They have huge sites and the most affordable laundry in town! The caregivers were so kind and generous with their time in helping us find some hidden beaches, local food (SOUL BOWLS at the TOW TRUCK are AMAZING!) and fun activities for kids under the age of 5. The little loop of drive way became a tricycle race course, the puppy found lots of friends, and the people are just so, so good. Make a plan a few months in advance, come to Haida Gwaii, drive to Masset, and make some new friends at Hidden Island RV!
