I am amending my review from several years ago. I had to have my entire windshield replaced a couple of months ago and my initial experience was good, the person I spoke with, Sherri (I think ), was pleasant and knowledgeable and got me in fairly quickly. Unfortunately about 6 weeks later my car’s dashcam (original with the car brand new) was dangling. Upon closer inspection they took the adhesive off but never replaced it. I could see where it was scraped off, it was unbelievably incompetent to try to stick it back to the window without any new adhesive material. It took me that long to find out because I don’t use my car that often. My husband was the one who noticed it dangling when he was outside.
I called and spoke with the manager, Alton (sp?). He was unbelievably condescending and tried to use different terminology, it felt like it was intentionally trying to be confusing. (He didn’t try the same crap with my husband) I told him about my dangling dashcam and he said that it was a third party product and they aren’t obligated to put it back on the window but they did it “as a courtesy”. It was completely contradictory to what I was told when I first called. The original person I spoke with knew my car had a factory dashcam, specifically said it would take some time to recalibrate the dashcam, and that there was a 30 day warranty to ensure it was working correctly after the service.
The guy today seemed confused about any of that. I told him my expectation when getting my car window serviced was to get a new window and everything would be put back and working. He kind of scoffed at that. Bizarre.
I called my insurance company just to be sure that what the guy said, that putting a dashcam back on the window was a “courtesy”, was actually true and the insurance agent was confused at that, she said if that is the case the glass company would charge an installation fee and there was no such charge on the invoice. She advised me to speak with the original person but in any case, if I ever have to get something like this done again, I won’t be using Crystal Glass.
ETA: to the owner, please listen to the phone call I made to your Maple Ridge shop, there was a msg at the beginning of the call saying the call was recorded, so hopefully that’s true. I called around 1:30pm yesterday Nov1. When my husband was there the manager said I was “confused” and “aggressive”. Listen to the call please.
Exceptional customer service and very fast! I loved that they came to my house to fix my windshield, the tech was very knowledgeable and professional and the prices were great.. I highly recommend this company!

Highly recommend! this was probably the most seamless repair i’ve ever had done. they got me in same day for a windshield replacement and did all the ICBC work for me. the staff are so great as well. thanks again, guys

Can’t say enough great things. Went in for a windshield replacement. I had called four other places, hoping to get in before the weekend, and just like everyone they were booked up - BUT they went above and beyond and made the time for me anyways! Super friendly staff, talk to Alton he’s great! When I went out to look at the vehicle at the job well done I noticed they gave me new complementary wipers too! Couldn’t believe it. Walked away feeling like this is a place they just do good old school quality work and are quality people.

I had a screen window I wanted to have changed to glass with a slot for my air conditioner. They did a great job and very little time at a very reasonable cost. Will definitely be going back for future projects. The whole staff were also very friendly.

'Red' trimmed up a glass aquarium lid to the perfect fit! The fish are extremely happy their sky won't come crashing down unexpectedly any more haha. Very friendly and quick service! Thanks again ☺️

Took me in after speedy glass turned me away had the rock chip filled in less than half an hour staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to myself and toddler. highly recommend coming here for your glass needs!! 10/10 service

I have used Crystal Glass in the past for chip repairs, a new windshield and even new ceramic glass for my gas stove, and I have recommended family members to use Crystal Glass services. Just had a new windshield put in yesterday. Shari at the front desk was awesome and the replacement was done quickly; however, on this occasion the interior of my vehicle was left a bit of a mess with lots of dirty bits on the dash, dirty greasy handprints on various surfaces (inside and out), and gummy residue on the driver's side door sill that I had to use brake clean to get off. I had cleaned the interior of the truck the day before including a vacuum job. There were large strips of tape that I assumed to be still holding down the window moulding on the vehicle. I phoned and talked to Brian. His first response was, " The guys wear gloves when they work." But he did later apologize and offered for me to return the vehicle for a clean, which I had already done. So just a heads up to check your car/truck before you leave their premises (as I should have).

Recently had a windshield replaced. We had very disappointing interactions with rude technicians and the front desk. Poor job all around. Would not recommend.
