Hours: Centex is a quaint little family gas station on the lower island, known for having the cheapest gas, usually several cents cheaper than Victoria or Mill Bay. It is the only station on the south island that offers full-service, old-school pumping with cheerful, friendly, and fast staff who provide great service. Recent renovations have expanded to four self-service pumps accepting tap, Apple, and Google Pay, and added a new diesel tank, though there can be occasional teething pains with the pump terminals. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Some customers note a straight fee for propane refills regardless of tank level.
