My boyfriend and I are just starting to look at engagement rings and we were overwhelmed when walking in. We had Alyssa help us and she was the best. She was super helpful, kind and just an absolute pleasure! We got such great information and felt more at ease and very excited when we left!

This was my sister’s first experience ring shopping and we were both incredibly disappointed in the level of service received. Despite having an appointment booked, the consultant did not honour the appointment, and instead decided help another client for the entire hour we were in the store. Before we left there was no apology or acknowledgement of our time. It was a complete waste of a trip.Although the store director offered to set aside time in her schedule to discuss options for my sister’s ring, the initial experience left us feeling quite upset and disinterested in wanting to pursue Spend Diamonds.

Please beware of lies and faulty craftsmanship, after being reassured that the backing on my brand new diamond earrings was locked and safe for every day use, not even a year and a half later one my new diamond earring popped off and couldn’t be found. My boyfriend felt bad, and went back to Spence to buy a replacement, they sold him into a set of higher price diamonds in order to trade in the one I still had, then, when he gave those to me, I could immediately tell the backing was faulty, it released with no pressure at all, and did not lock at all. Not feeling safe I immediately went into the Spence in downtown Vancouver, to which they verified that it was faulty and they would send into the shop for repair, which really wasn’t reassuring that they should or could be worn everyday. The next day my boyfriend received an invoice by email billing him for the repair of a brand new pair of earrings that have never been worn due to their faulty craftsmanship? We were Never toldThat and it makes no sense regardless of the fact I don’t feel safeWearing them and would rather return them. Do NOT buy earrings from them, They are not screw backs, and obviously they do not back their own craftsmanship, or care iftheir customers loose earringsAre they’d rather upsell you!!!!!! Also looked for a diamond ring there and the sales person lied about the diamond grading authorities. Certainly not the Spence experience they advertise.

My husband and I went to Spence looking to upgrade to a larger anniversary diamond. It was easy to book an appointment online and our initial consultation was thorough and surprisingly enjoyable. Neither of us felt any pressure and our diamond consultant took the time to educate and ask questions. As we went through the process, she was very communicative and all of the timelines discussed were met. When we picked up the ring, there was no question about the workmanship and bespoke quality.

I chose Spence to assist with designing an engagement ring to propose to my now fiancée. Alyssa and the entire Spence Diamonds team were amazing. They were attentive and knowledgeable, guiding me through the entire process from the initial consultation to the finished product. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome. Honestly, never been here. Was looking for an engagement ring and couldn't go here as all I've heard is the commercial on the radio 30 times a day and it drove me nuts that it turned me away from them ..plus they sound sooooo stupid!!! Get someone to do normal commercials for you ...so corny!!!

My experience with Spence has been mediocre at best. Initially opting for a smaller diamond and a low ring setting due to concerns about potential damage. I found the ring felt larger than desired and larger than the ring sizer that I tried in the store. I waited six months until I was comfortable that I wouldn't damage the ring at it's current diamond size and decided to upgrade the diamond, concurrently resizing the ring.While the first consultant assured a quicker turnaround, the ring took the full 10 business days. On the 10th business day, the consultant that helped me choose a larger diamond called to report an incorrect diamond setting, the diamond was sitting lower than it should and offered me to send it back requiring another standard turn around time to have it fixed. I opted to assess it at home and see if it would be an issue or if it was just her personal opinion. When home, I realised that despite having the ring resized to a smaller size, it felt larger and cause the ring to spin more than when I brought it in.Upon revisiting Spence for both the diamond reset and sizing concerns, the consultant (a slim blonde lady on 12/18) rudely cut me off mid-explanation, raising her voice nearly to a yell to ask for a receptionist to help. I am assuming because she realized I would not be another sale.Despite the receptionist's helpfulness, the consultant who helped me upgrade my ring, failed to note the issue in our file, leading to confusion. The consultant that helped me with the upgrade did not come out of her office to deal with the situation, rather had the reception run back and forth numerous times to ask her questions.Spence agreed to reset the diamond, but I must pay for the ring resizing, a detail omitted by previous consultants who failed to advise sizing down for the open-ended setting is typical.This experience has left me frustrated and undervalued, prompting my decision to refrain from future purchases and discourage others from considering Spence for their jewelry needs.

Do not shop here! We went here to shop for an engagement ring and we weren’t approached at all. We then asked an employee for help and she literally just told us to look at the dummy rings and walked off. Did not ask for what we are looking for or what we are interested in— complete turn off! The employee went back to the counter and stood there doing absolutely nothing. Our experience was terrible, don’t waste your time here you are better off going to an independent jeweller. Not to mention there displays had a lot of outdated looking engagement rings.

Bree was amazing. Husband and I decided to go for something different for our kids this Christmas. I first heard the term non-traditional diamonds in their radio spots over a year ago. I love one of a kind things and decided this would be an amazing way to celebrate how our kids are perfectly unique and have become outstanding examples of humanity.Bree was extremely patient and helpful in offering choices for each kid and once we found diamonds that was perfect for each, we had Spence's decide how each stone would be set on the necklace.Turnaround was far less than I expected and hubby and I agree that this was a great choice for Christmas .These pics don't do justice to the deep colours of these necklaces

My experience with Spence Diamonds Langley was excellent! I was interested in a laboratory diamond, because of all the negative impacts of mined diamonds. Cheyenne Evans was great! She’s very knowledgeable. She gave me time to select the ring I wanted and then took the time to explain everything I needed to know about it. I recommend Spence Diamonds, and I highly recommend Cheyenne. Thank you so much. I love my ring!

I was in search of the perfect ring and Taylor brought my vision to reality. I came into Spence and spoke with Taylor and explained what I was hoping to purchase for a gift and after describing what I was hoping for Taylor came through with flying colors and amazing service! I I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I am now working with Taylor on my next purchase and her attention to details along with her service and knowledge of jewelry are amazing! I Will be dealing with Taylor for all my future jewelry purchases!

My experience at Spence Diamonds was excellent, and I highly recommend. I first went to the Vancouver store to look for an engagement ring for my now fiancé. Staff were very friendly and a new salesperson suggested I speak with Alyssa, store director at the Langley branch who happened to be working in Vancouver that day. She was very thorough in explaining options to me and after letting her know my then girlfriend’s taste, she directed me to area of the store I should look. She was in no way pushy and left me to look at my leisure. After finding a few settings that I felt would suit her, she explained that I could take a prototype to England which is where I planned to propose. I didn’t know you could do that, so that part was awesome. Subsequently, we discussed budget and Alyssa came back with many options for mined diamonds and artisan-created diamonds alike. Following our trip to England (and successful proposal), we followed up with her at the Langley branch to finalize the ring selection. After walking us through “diamonds 101”, my fiancé made her decision. The ring was shipped to the Vancouver branch for pickup and my fiancé absolutely loves it!All in all, it was a 10 out of 10 experience with Spence Diamonds and Alyssa in particular. Highly recommend!
