I go here constantly because it’s the closest to me.
I give 3 stars because today I went to get meat from the deli at 8:33pm and I was told the deli was closed.
I’ve never been turned away from the deli before and when I said that I was surprised I was told that it’s actually normal for the deli to start packing up between 8:30-9:00 pm
Well I usually come after 9 and not had this experience until now…

I don't know what's going on at this particular store but everytime I've gone in for the last couple of years they have half stocked shelves, missing items, lack of selection, hard/stale bread.
Been shopping here since 2009 and after COVID I stopped going because of their lack of products.
I now drive all the way to Langley to Ralph's, IGA or even Otter Coop grocery. Prices may be a bit higher but at least they always carry a good stock.

I go here constantly. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I cannot say a negative word about them.
What gets Save-On a 3-star review, is that staff are instructed to do the dirty work.
Jobs like putting out moldy or past-its-shelf-life-date produce. Sure, the staff will take it back if you drive all the way back to the store, but management knows that the majority won't, so they keep serving it up.
One thing that really bothers me is the deli workers. It seems like they're encouraged to give you more than you ask for.
For instance, "Can I have 300 grams of black forest ham, please?" gets you a package that contains 375 grams of ham. Now, it may be ticky-tack complaining about that, but if you buy four different packs, that adds an extra $5 ON TOP OF WHAT YOU ASKED FOR!!
It's frustrating because it feels like you're being taken advantage of, and it happens every single time.
But the staff?
They are the best around.

I Have to change my review from 2 stars to 5 stars . They have better staff now Jayden still works there but is less on my nerves . DIVYA saved the day by making sure I got all my discounts saving more than %50 of my bill. Save on Foods is real here proof below
