Was here in Boxing Day and the store was tidy and all the workers were SO NICE and helpful. Honestly the best shopping experience I had had in a long time. Thanks to those four ladies!

Can I just thank Angela for being the queen she is and for the amazing employee at the counter who directed me towards her and helped me sort out my bag of returns! (Sorry I didn't get your name - I was anxious and so darn excited about those bras!! ?) You're employees are amazing. Angela had my TaTas looking impeccable. I will forever be grateful for her knowledge and help in finding my first fitted bra. (Who knew they could be this comfy!?) And just how awesome and a joy she was to talk to. I've never had bad customer service here, this is also the location I got help in finding the very first bathing suit I felt confident in, ever. 10000/10 for these ladies. If your plus sized, looking for great clothes and need some help in the store this is the place for you.Thank-you!!!

Customer service sucked. I tried finding a coat to fit my swollen arm from breast cancer. One lady said nothing will fit me. I told her there was no question about price. After looking around with my 10 year old grandson, I found a coat that fit.I mentioned it to the girl at the till. Then that girl came up to the teller girl and said something in her ear, and both of them laughed. I spent almost 500$ there.I also must say that I am in an electric wheelchair and I am aboriginal and 66 years old. I use to get awesome service before. They seem not to care about their customers. I love Penningtons styles and good sizes and prices. There isn't much choice in retail for larger size clothes. Surrey closed their 2 stores and this one I took a wheelchair ♿️ cab there that cost me 42$ and that one is in Langley.

Wow worst customer service I’ve ever had from this store, can’t even get a hello or can I help you find anything. They give dirty looks constantly and judgemental looks, tried a few things on left upset and frustrated as I needed help being sized for a bra and she goes “did everything fit ok?” I said “nope nothing fit as I couldn’t get fitted” her response “oh so sorry”. Extremely rude and extremely frustrating.

At the Langley store on Monday, August 28 I had to return items and used a paper bag to tote them into the store. I guess there was some brown paper bag dust inside the bag that got onto the pants. When the clerk saw it she held the pants up grimacing and then tossed them towards me on the counter claiming they couldn't be returned. I picked them up, dusted them off, and advised they were not worn or washed and that the dust was obviously from the bottom of a reusable paper bag. She then sighed and claimed the tags were taken off so they are still not returnable. I said I thought they fit at first and took the tags off but brought the tags in with the return so the can simply be reattached. She sighed and said next time just keep the tags on and proceeded to be annoyed and finished my transaction allowing the refund in the end. Am I supposed to be grateful they returned a brand new product not worn or washed that had the tags but weren't attached? It's too much to ask for good customer service these days. Especially from someone clearly annoyed by having to do their job.

I used to shop at Addition Elle exclusively. I didn't like the selection that penningtons had. Over the last 6-12 months I've noticed a huge shift in their inventory. There are a lot of trendy pieces for all ages.The staff in store is really helpful. There is always someone on hand if you need assistance. They recently renovated the changing rooms and they look really nice. It's just a pleasant experience to shop here.

Such great customer service at this location. There was a special customer service appreciation event going on and all the staff were run off their feet and there were a lot of customers… I never felt like I was ignored, I felt supported and everyone had massive smiles on their faces and were good humoured even though it was probably a rough day. I hope the higher ups appreciate this team for being excellent at their jobs!

Unfortunately, I rarely give poor reviews, but this store has a culture of negativity if you are struggling to find the right pieces. The staff will make mean jokes and are not encouraging about body image. The clothes are nice.

They are very short staffed. The customer service is great if your lucky enough to find a worker that isn't super busy. I had to help myself to a fitting room and not once did anyone even enter the fitting area the whole time I was in there. However it's still a great store for selection. Just be prepared to stand in line for a while.
