I keep both fresh and saltwater fish and was hoping to find a store that carried reef fish as it's hard to find livestock locally.
When you first go to the store's website, the whole top of the page is filled with a video of a reef tank. The site states "Fresh Water and Saltwater Fish [...] We carry a wide array of both tropical, cold water and saltwater fish, plants, invertebrates and supplies." They have a whole dedicated page for saltwater fish on the site. Naturally, this implies that they actually sell saltwater fish in store.
A few months back I decide to pay the store a visit, as I was interested in fish and invertebrates for my reef tank. When I got there I found they had no saltwater livestock at all. The staff member was friendly and explained that they were having a hard time getting shipments. I said ok, I'll check back in a few months. A bit annoyed that I drove all that way for nothing, but ok.
So now it's a few months later. I called the store and asked if they carried saltwater fish now. The man on the phone said "yes" and asked what sort of fish in particular I was looking for. I said I was looking for something suitable for a nano tank and he quickly and enthusiastically replied that they had "lots" of nano fish in stock. Note that I had specifically asked about SALTWATER fish.
I drove in terrible weather from Vancouver out the to Langley store to find that once again they didn't actually have anything. They had a grand total of two saltwater fish, a tang (!), and one other fish completely unsuitable for a nano tank.
I had a shopping list of freshwater livestock and supplies that they DID have, but I walked out of the store with nothing, as I'm not keen on giving my business to a store that misleads customers.
Unfortunate since their freshwater section looks good and I had high hopes from the reviews.
I won't be trying this store again.

I had a question about a coral in the display. This guy got super defensive and almost got mad and yelled NO THEY ARE NOT FOR SELL ! First of all it didn’t answer my question at all… secondly why so rude if I just have a question about a coral ! Holyyyy cow act normal or handle customers like normal people instead of your dog ! I’m not gonna donate these guys anything anymore

This place is like a zoo of fish! Has the most variety in the lower mainland maybe even Canada. The monster fish are highly impressive, and the owner hung out with me and we just talked about fish! This place will rescue fish and rehome them by vetting. Prices are excellent on everything. The staff are great. The refund policy is good. Has snails in almost every tank so be aware.

This aquarium store is pretty much a theme park for fishkeeping enthusiasts. Call ahead if you're looking for something specific, but it's more fun to drop by after noon when the fish room opens and just stroll up the aisles to see what's in.
Their prices are reasonable and they have a wide variety of fish and plants. We can easily spend an hour there just looking around, and always buy something, if only to thank them for keeping this place going for all of us!
I do wish they had a "take a number" system for actually getting the fish and plants though, there is often just one person serving in the fish room and it can be hard to get their attention before someone else steps ahead of you, lol.

Was looking to check out the marine collection but all the tanks were dark. Impressive store otherwise. A massive freshwater masterpiece of a store. It takes a lot of work to keep all this going. Just about anything you would want. Will visit again.

This store accepts fish you don't want. I took in 3 catfish I had been given and they took them and gave me store credit. Definitely an interesting place to buy fish.
