Much better experience here staff filling holes and and simply keeping busy and working away at least making a an effort to keep shelves full as I know there are no shipments on Sundays.

I like the convenience of the location to my home in Glenmore. I shop here often. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
A place to improve though is ROTATE YOUR DAIRY PRODUCTS. It has happened to me on more than a few occasions where I go to buy yogurt and reach in the back only to find out it's an older date in the back of the cooler. Grabbing from the front I've had to o make a return due to my not checking the date when I assumed grabbing from the back would be longer best before dates. Grabbed from the back today only to discover it was older than what was in front. If it's happening in dairy, is it happening throughout the whole store?
I've brought it to the staffs attention but maybe just not the right staff person.

Clean, stocked, and organized. Staff is helpful and efficient, based on my weekly experiences. They are good about price matching and offering rain checks if there’s a sale item out of stock. Glad to have Save On Foods in Glenmore!

Terrible service today. Had my tastebuds wanting the Chicken , salad & bun special for dinner. Not a single chicken at 5:30 pm. Like that's dinner time. Managers seemed clueless as to what to do. Went home empty , with no supper to feed my boys. Shame on you.

Found everything I was looking for and had a cheery, smiley cash clerk checking my groceries out. Bought my lotto right there at the till, too. Won free plays on three of them. ?

I Come here all the time (almost everyday) usually extremely nice staff, today I had to quickly run in to use the washroom this and had a very rude incident. I locked the door when entering the washroom it appeared locked and was extremely hard to turn with no sign explaining there was any trick to it or anything so I assumed that’s just how it was and that it was locked. Whilst I was doing my business an older male staff member in a white jacket burst into the washroom and rather then apologize for infringing on my privacy he decided to scold me for not locking the door and slam it behind him. He made me feel embarrassed when truthfully I had no reason to be as I did everything I could to lock the door and had no reason to think it wasn’t locked. He then disappeared when I came out of the bathroom and was no where to be found after being the one who was rude and actively working in a customer service role. It all would’ve been fine if he had stuck around after to apologize but he clearly stormed away as he was embarrassed so imagine how I felt.

Watch expiry dates when shopping here. Bought yougurt and got home to realize it expired over 3 weeks ago. I took it back and point this out. They returned it but another associate took the product and put it back on the shelf after I made it known that product was well past best before date. While I know things can still be consumed after this date I don’t feel it’s fair to have to pay full price for expired food

I went to get exclusively $1.49 day items purchases...
This store so could have made it easier to find within the store? I gave up and left without 2 possible sale items. Employees...seen were security people or cashiers.

Time: 12:10pm
Female checkout agent at check out no 8 on the 15th of March 2024 at around 12 noon.
This young girl had a very bad attitude and appeared to not want to be there to do her job.
I approached her, there was 0 smile or even an acknowledgment or a greeting. Very poor first impression, she then abruptly asked me what was the code on the bag of sesame seeds that I had written.
She returned and said in an extremely condescending tone this is the unit number not the correct one…
I replied to her well then there should be one number displayed as it can be confusing, I am not local to Canada and this isn’t a familiar system to me… I said what is your problem you should be polite to tour customers. She snotty replied no need to get mad…
Sort your staff out by selecting more meticulously in your job interviews. I suffer from severe anxiety and I will never return to your store again as this female has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
I spoke to the manager but I got the feeling she will stand up for this staff member.
Will never return to that particular store again, I will order online from now on

Have been coming here for a while now and man has the customer service really gone downhill at this store. Cashiers do not greet you or help you bag your groceries. They don't even talk to you other than ask if you have a saveon card and as how you are paying. They don't even tell you the total of your bill. You are rushed to pack your own groceries as they start to scan the next customer in lines items. This store really needs to turn around its customer service skills.

Decent,clean grocery store with your average B.C. food costs.Lots of sales throughout the week,changing weekly I imagine. I do like this location I never have waited in line for long,always quick!
