They had lean ground beef advertised in their flyer for $4.47 /lb which was shown laid out nicely on a cutting board in the picture. When I get to the store the ground beef is in a plastic tube which looks like it's half water. Meanwhile the ground beef right next to it that looks like the beef in the picture is double the price. Nice scam!

Save on foods is always clean, well stocked and have pleasant staff. The pharmacy hours differ from the store hours but the pharmacy specifically is efficient and pleasant.

Patrick (older gentleman working the floor) was a big help! My partner and I couldn't find what we were looking for and Patrick went out of his way to find out for us and accompanied us to the product incase we got lost or couldn't find it (without his help we definately didn't and couldn't so it was good he was around) ?

There was a security guard with a buzz cut at around 9:15 on Thursday July 4th, who was a terrible person, me and my friends entered the store and he instantly began to follow us and radio the other staff before we had every began shopping, he followed us around the entire store despite the fact we did nothing, and made us very uncomfortable. he needs to be reprimanded for his stereotyping, and discrimination against youth.

Generally clean. Some cashiers could be a bit peppier, a little quicker, otherwise fine

Selling frenched souvlaki pork chops at the butcher counter as tomahawk. For two of them they charged me over $35. Told them that they are frenched and not tomahawk, so they returned it to me with a price still far more than I pay at any other Save On Foods, still mislabeled as tomahawk. It's so easy to tell the difference one is massive one is not.
How can I trust food that is repeatedly mislabeled and repeatedly mispriced?
I'm very excited to see what kind of generic response I'm going to get.

The women name Tara at customer service was terribly rude, one of the ruddiest customer service I’ve dealt with. I bought some meat from save on food and after I paid and got into my car. I gave a second glance to the meat and they don’t look very fresh to me. So I decided to return them to the save on food in Mission which is the closest one to me at the time. So i went into the store and this women name Tara was there at the customer service. So very politely, I said to her that I need to return the meat I just bought cause they don’t look fresh to me. She was very annoyed and said to me that the meat looks fine to her and refused to return the meat and told me that go back to my house and open the package, if the meat smells not fresh then bring them back and return them. Well, that’s exactly what I did. It was pouring with rain outside. I got home and opened packages and the meat smells bad to me. Immediately I got back to my car and drove back to the store. Tara was there again of course. I told here that I went home and opened the packages and the meat indeed smells bad to me. She said “ Don’t ever come back to save on food and buy meat again! What a waste, I have to throw them away. “ I told her that basically I wasn’t gonna risk my health and eat them so I have to return them. Eventually she did refund me the money but the whole experience shocked me and makes me speechless for a while. Never thought that I would get treated that way from the store that I have been shopping for a decade. Never thought a person like that should work at customer service at any store with that kind of attitude.
