Picked out some cement slabs and asked the guy there if he could please get the fork lift and load the pallet 2200 lbs. he said you have to pay first which is fine I ran in and paid 5 minutes , came back out with the slip and he said his shift was over and wouldn't load. It would have taken him 3 minutes. He had spent the whole time we were there chatting up a co worker girl, not working at all. I had to go in and find an operator.

Purchased a snowblower which had been returned. Turned out there were more issues than originally thought. Wayne in Seasonal went out of his way to source a new machine have it assembled and delivered. Ended up just returning the unit but definitely was over and above service. Thank you Wayne for such great service

As with others, I only return to this store because of its convenient location to my residence. The customer service here is beyond bad. The staff appear to dislike the inconvenience of those damn customers. Frankly, I believe it all boils down to very poor management, creating a culture of poor customer service. This is one place that really needs the management replaced. The sooner, the better.

I'll try not to go on too long here, but Rona's one star review comes as the result of many dealings. I live quite close so I foolishly and optimistically returned hoping my horrible product and customer service experiences were just flukes. 1. Good luck finding anyone who can help. Staff are hard to find and are more likely to spend 20 minutes running around the store to find a different staff member than help you. 2. When I have phoned with problems I just get delegated from one desk to the next, sometimes even getting delegated back to the first one that answered, where once again I will be delegated away. 3. After ordering doors they got me the wrong ones, so I returned them and asked for the ones I had asked for, they assured me the doors would be ready in about 2 weeks. After a month I called to check the status of my order and was told that they didn't understand the notes they put on my file so no one had bothered dealing with them (I had prepaid and they couldn't bother to figure out what I wanted) finally after a week of calling the doors arrived, my contractor picked them up because he had a truck and upon going to install we realized that one of the doors was the exact same door that was wrong in the first place. 4. I bought an expensive faucet, finally get the sink mounted and take the faucet out or the box, it's corroded and covered with Teflon tape, it looks like it was heavily used and abused for years before my purchase. I'm hoping they take it back but it was on sale (not because it was used and corroded but because all bathroom faucets were on sale that week) These are just the memorable experiences. Why have I given these people so much money.?

We visited Rona in Kelowna looking for a lighting fixture we found on their website. After searching extensively in the store, we couldn't find it so decided to ask at the service desk. There was nobody at the desk so we waited ... and we waited ... and we waited. For 30 minutes we waited without so much as an acknowledgement from employees passing by the desk. So we left and crossed the street to the Home Hardware store. Went straight to their service desk, was acknowledged immediately and a sales person in the electrical department was hailed to help us. It took five minutes to explain what we wanted and to source the product. We also found an additional item that we were thinking of getting. In total, close to $300 in sales completed in about ten minutes. Too bad Rona.

Two years in a row Rona has messed up my outdoor light order. I have ordered lights from them, payed for them and for the second year in a row have them tell me after 6 weeks of messing around and telling me they were coming refund my money and tell me they don't have them! Really, get your act together Rona, you used to be great and you have been going downhill for a few years. We are done with you, lots of other places to get what we need. Bye Rona!

By far the WORST customer service I have ever witnessed. If I could rate it with Zero stars I would. I went to Rona to figure out what my options were in terms of getting new drawers in my Kitchen. The lady I talked to was less than helpful. She apparently was the only one in the ENTIRE store who knew any thing about kitchens. I told her about the plastic drawers that the previous owners had put in and even showed her the one that I had brought with me. She told me that it was hopeless and walked away. A minute later, some other lady approached me and said that it would cost me $1000.00 dollars if I wanted to get a couple drawers made. She proceeded to say that I would " have a better chance of staying within my budget if I asked for overstock from a discount store." Not ONCE did I discuss a budget! So number one, she insulted me by assuming that I was not willing to spend $1000.00 to fix my kitchen drawers, and two...you are in the wrong industry if you are going to insult your customers lady. I hope you read this post, and that you lose your job because you do NOT deserve to work for ANY BODY in this town.
