When I was a child, back in the 80’s and early 90’s, my family would vacation at Harrison Hot Springs. I still have the small pewter dragon I purchased at this store back then. I was able to visit again before the pandemic. It was like a time-warp and I was suddenly a dragon-obsessed pre-teen again, gazing at all the shiny and fantastical items. But this time…this time I had adult money…

Very cool store, however the staff here needs a major attitude adjustment. I couldn’t imagine spending money in a place where the staff feels it’s appropriate to be so rude to their customers.

Daughter and I were back to 'Dragonfly' for several browse & shop visits during a recent, early-March stay in Harrison Hot Springs. With permission, I took a few inside-the-store photos this time, to provide a 'feel' for the very large extent of offerings carried. For such a small place, selections are quite extensive, and cover a wide-range in 'type' of gifts, crafts, and such, and include lovely selections of geodes, jade, and crystals, jewelry, and artwork. We purchased a couple of small gifts this time -- daughter found a large mug she had to have, and purchased it to become a beverage mug, or cool-looking vase for a small plant -- a small and colourful bowl caught my eye, and will occupy a spot on my writing desk. It was fun to get back to this fine, small gift / craft shop. A much-enjoyed added touch to our separate visits this year, was being able to meet and talk with all three of the store's sales staff -- Kylie (also Manager), Lori (Kylie's Mother), and Heidi -- nice people, who make browsing and shopping at their place an interesting and so enjoyable experience.

The sales girl was very nice. Friendly. I will go back next time if I visit. I love my black dragon.
I recomend it for others who is interested in this kind of stuff. She was gentle with my item made sure it gets home safe.

Quaint shop with lots of crystals, gems, fairies and things to inspire. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Unique items, and handmade jewellery. And there's a huge chainsaw carving of a dragon right in the middle of the store! A definite sight to see.

Love this shop. I recommend making sure the item is not broken in anyway. I was sold a fairy mushroom lamp that was on sale, she not thinking I bought it. Got home later to find that the top was cracked and chipped. I would have not bought it and I live to far to return it.

Not the same owner but still such a magical place to visit. Thank you to whomever decided to keep the Dragonfly open. It has 30 years of memories for our family. A place of imagination and joy and buying whimsical gifts.

I am the employee of this store,so maybe I shouldn't write review.This store has been in Harrison for over 30 years,lots guests love this small shop and come back for every year.Unfortunately, 3 years ago,the old owner chose to retire for physical and age reasons.The owner of Harrison Village Mall did not want to close this historic station,so they decided to hire some people to continue the dragonfly shop.Most of the goods and design are used in the old owner's views,they don't want old customer to feel uncomfortable.We know that sometimes we can not let all the guests feel satisfied, but we will do our best efforts.
Using camera is a tough decision.In a small town,keep a small shop is really hard work.I have my faith, and I wish that everyone and everything I met is good,but sometimes you have to meet some bad things. I am not saying that some people are bad guys, but sometimes they make a bad decisions and hurt us. Those things happen many times for last couple years. We are loving to create a free environment for all guests, also efforts to do. However, some of the necessary equipment will be a great help to our work. In fact, it is huge helpful. When things happen,we try to call police,but that is not help.If we give this lady or other guests uncomfortable feeling, we are so sorry and sincerely hope that you can understand and forgive us.
We will make every effort to improve. If there are more 5 stars reviews, I wish that by the guests, not me or other employees.
