The rooms are suitable for a short stay, whether for a single night or a couple of nights. The motel staff are attentive, friendly, and very helpful.
The location is the best, just few steps away from the beach

Enjoyed our stay, their great location, beach access, nice staff, restaurant, and new ice cream café. Handy kitchen in suite, good to see a BBQ for guests.

Great place to stay if on a budget. Close to beach, shops and restaurants. Bed comfortable, shower hot. Microwave and fridge in room.
Walkability: Everything is really close.

A quaint motel reminiscent of the 1970s. A bit 'tired' but clean sheets, clean rooms, recent flooring upgrades, lots of hot water and a groovy feel to the whole place. Great location right across from the dock and on-site parking was a plus. Definitely will be back.

Room29 Smells so bad , leakage under the bed . They had some room freshness product under the bed ( cheaper quality probably bought from cheap online site ) made more worse . Requested the owner to change the room (a couple who’s smoking outside the Check-in Office) but they want more money. Finally left my stuff in the room and spent most of time outside in fresh air .
CAME BACK just to SLEEP AROUND 2am but Something was wrong with there electrical system lights ,tv,ac and fridge keeps rebooting everything 10-15 minutes . I just unplugged everything open the door and windows So annoying can’t sleep at all . Checked out early. What a nightmare.

Pros ; . Location is great, parking is free if u booked though there website . They charge extra for parking if you used 3rd party site to book . 5 minutes walk from Restaurants ,Pub and Lake

wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me. we stayed in the ‚renovated rooms‘, but all the light bulbs were dark and flickering all the time, i could barely see my face in the bathroom mirror. little hairs (like cat hair??) all over the bedsheets and cushions when we arrived plus big stain on one bedsheet (see picture). loud AC. barely any parking. floors weren’t clean. absolute rip off for what you get. only positive: 1 minute walk to the lake.

Don’t go on the weekend the more people are staying at the hotel the less power you have. Friday, Saturday the electricity went on and off every few minutes, had to use a flashlight in the bathroom. Offered a new room for Sunday night but once people had checked out the problem got a bit better. When speaking with staff another guest mentioned having the same problems. They claimed never having this problem before, but now after seeing the reviews it appears to be a common issue. On Sunday on 2 occasions staff then entered the hotel room twice without knocking, just entered. Nothing was done after that to try and improve the experience.

I chose this place for the price point. I needed a place to stay in the lower mainland. Compared to other places that I have stayed with the same price point, this place pales. The issues for me were lack of parking. The spots available are very tight. We ended up with damage to our bumper. The other problem was that the lights in the bathroom was so dim that I cannot confirm if the room was clean. All lights flickered, often blinking out completely. Sometimes when the lights blinked the TV would shut off. I noticed that the lights in the office flickered when I went there to report the problem.

We stayed one night in room no. 23. Although the beds were clean and comfortable, the lights in the bathroom and kitchen flickered non-stop. Also, the bathroom sink taps were old-fashioned turn style, making it difficult (and dangerous!) to achieve a proper water temperature. Our room was a kitchenette, but the fridge in our room was old and the door seal was broken, so keeping items cold - most notably, a carton of milk - was challenging.

It was a meh experience. My room was at the back by the smoke pit so I got all the weed and tobacco smoke right up into my room. People partied till 2 in the morning. Room was clean, bed was decent but its pretty run down, lights flickered often the carpet was ancient and the a/c sort of worked. I dont consider myself overly picky, but I wouldn't stay there again. All the best.

Clean, comfy, and compact. The location could not be better: directly across from the lake. The is incredible value for money. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable. If you intend you spend your time outside, this is the perfect location. There is a little picnic table and seating area outside when the weather is good. We’ll be back.

Well priced and in the best location. Rooms are very clean and nicely presented. Fitted out with all the mod cons. The building itself is showing its age but still in relatively good condition.
Well recommended.
