The owner of this establishment is a sweet elderly man. He was so sweet and said hello each time he did a walk by. The location was beautiful. A weekend away with my mother. HOWEVER there is an extremely rude employee. On my second day, I returned from lagoon with a giant wooden board outside my car with a no parking sign. Another paper sign taped to my window that read "remove your vehicle" and written in pen read "Now!". I was parked along side the bush, behind parked vehicles. All vehicles were able to pull on and out easily, as many did one day one. My mother went to speak with an employee who was very short tempered with her and demanded we move the vehicle. We complied and I went inside to grab my keys, walked to my car, and the man approached us again. He screamed at us that "tourists from Vancouver love to come here thinking they can park wherever the hell they want" and told us to move, again, as we already were doing. We are paying guests and this was very anxiety inducing for me. The same employee was incredibly rude to us later on when our power went out. He blamed it on us stating that we kept the AC running while keeping the door open. When we explained our AC was off, he just rudely told us that he knows we were and we caused the issue. We were very very disappointed as my mother has been a returning guest for 3 years but this will be our last, sadly. I wish the man treated us with respect and understanding rather than being so defensive and hostile. Again, the actual owner is a sweetheart and that is why I am giving a good star review.

My two teens and myself stayed in room 1 two summers ago for 3 days. The first night our ac didn’t work and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone to fix it. That was a rough hot night of no sleep with the door open. Next day it was fixed and Stephanie gave me a discount on one more night. All in all it was a nice peaceful stay. Will be back this summer!
Nearby activities: Super convenient area
Safety: Felt very safe
Walkability: Everything walkable
Food and drinks: I think the fish n chip stand in the parking lot is the best food in town
Noteworthy details: Convenience Store and Liquor store around the corner

Rooms: I stayed here with my family a few years ago and thought to try it out again. It looks cute and is in a great location. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out to be a pleasant stay. After getting the keys to my room I did an overview to see the room I would be staying in for the next few days. Things looked fine until I actually started to settle in. the room was very dusty and grimy. The toilet was stained and had black mould, I told the front desk and they told me that it was intact clean. I ended up using the public toilets that are a block away instead of using the one in my room. The shower was also a disappointment as there was no shower head and the water just sprinkled out. The water temperature was all over the place and I had to jump out of the way as the water got super hot/cold. I would not recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a clean place to stay.

The room is spacious and clean. Nice hosts.
Unfortunately very noisy. Rooms on the upper floor are cleaned from 7:30 a.m. with an unbearable noise. You just can't sleep anymore! You can hear every step. 1.5 hours long!! Thanks for nothing.
That doesn't work at all. You can't go on vacation like that.
Kitchenette not working. No plates or glasses. Not even a rag to wipe the table. Too bad. Expected more.

Me and my fiancé have been staying at Glencoe for months until today we get an hour notice while at work that they booked our site and we need to pack up and leave. After reading other reviews and hearing from other guests staying at Glencoe this hasn't been the first time this has happened. While on the phone with the owner Stephanie she was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. If you read other review replies on here you can see how she treats her guests. Outright lying saying we told her that we were going to be gone by September 1st when we initially booked until October. While we were there we enjoyed our stay and our neighbours made the whole experience great! I wouldn't recommend booking a long term stay here unless you want to be kicked out on the spot and have to listen to a condescending inconsiderate woman screaming at you on the phone.

The actual owners are super friendly. Appreciated having a room but there’s a random guy that is ruder than anyone I have ever met that ruins the whole stay. They will refuse to offer any source of heat for the night and they flat out lied and said the fire department said they went aloud space heaters. I contacted them and was informed that was never the case and they had never been asked. The guy told me because he was older and was ok with no heat that I had to be ok with no heat. Basic point is I would stay here again if I bring my own heater but don’t expect the owners to be friendly at all in a resort town ,

I reserved a room for 5 nights and due to an unexpected problem I had to cancel. The proprietor was so gracious and understanding, and cancelled the room right away. Thank you very muchDebbie R July 31/2023

A Nightmare at Harrison Hot Springs: Disgusting Accommodations and Arrogant OwnerMy recent stay at Glencoe Motel in Harrison Hot Springs was nothing short of a horrendous experience. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the owner's arrogance matched the deplorable state of the motel. I feel compelled to share my discontent and warn others about the abysmal conditions we encountered.1. The room we were assigned to was a dusty and foul-smelling nightmare. To this day, my luggage still reeks of the repugnant urine odor that permeated the room.2. Shockingly, our room was not cleaned or turned down after our first night. When I approached the owner to address this issue, he dismissively responded that it would be done later, displaying a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy.3. The toilet paper provided to us was a measly partial roll, and when I asked for more, the owner rudely threw a bag of rolls at me. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable and reflects the owner's contemptuous attitude towards guests.4. The overall cleanliness of the room was appalling. The floor felt sticky and covered in sand, creating an uncomfortable and unsanitary environment.5. Adding to our woes, the towels in the room emitted a foul smell of mold. Instead of replacing them proactively, we had to request fresh towels. Because the room was not turned-down, the owner insisted that we return the used towels before providing replacements.6. The soap in our room was not replenished, forcing us to purchase our own. It is the responsibility of the motel to ensure that basic amenities are adequately supplied.7. When I requested for the garbage to be taken out and replaced with a new bag, which should have been completed during turn-down, the owner audaciously told me to do it myself. Such lack of service and disrespect is beyond comprehension.8. The lack of privacy in our room was disconcerting. Cars were parked parallel to our windows, a mere 3 feet away, rendering it impossible to have the curtains open without compromising our privacy. With curtains shut, the room was dark and dreary.9. The room's excessive dampness and humidity left our belongings and packed clothes moist, creating a highly uncomfortable experience.10. The motel claims to offer Wi-Fi, but their policy is incredibly restrictive. I was banned from using the Wi-Fi for attempting to watch Netflix, a restriction that defeats the purpose of providing internet access to guests. This limitation is not reasonable, considering the ubiquity of data-intensive applications in today's world.11. Our group rented three rooms but were not allowed to view them before paying in full. Had we been given the opportunity, we would have undoubtedly opted for alternative accommodations or even resorted to camping in our cars.12. The bed sheets were made of a PVC variant, exacerbating the discomfort caused by the oppressive humidity. Even for someone like myself who doesn't typically sweat excessively, the sleeping conditions were unbearable.13. Speaking of the beds, they felt akin to thin sheets draped over a picnic table. Unbelievably hard and uncomfortable, they made getting a decent night's sleep an impossible feat.14. The owner's behavior was deplorable. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, he became easily offended and hostile when confronted with only 2 deficiencies. We were left with no option but to return our keys to a box placed outside, preventing us from lodging a face-to-face complaint. This tactic seems premeditated to evade criticism.15. It is imperative to mention the owner's responses to other reviews, which are not only sexist and ageist but also display a shocking level of childishness. These responses highlight his arrogance and further corroborate.16. Furthermore, a previous guest reported experiencing an electrical fire during their stay. This alarming incident underscores the poor maintenance and shoddy workmanship of the establishment, raising serious concerns about the safety of the premises. Not recommended.Roo

We went to Harrison hot springs for a family vacation. When we arrived to glencoe motel. we were asked to pay upfront for all 3 days we had booked for. Also there was a note saying you could not get a refund. This was a red flag. When we went to our rooms we were totally disgusted. There was black mold around the bathtub as you can see in my pictures. No shower head. The water just came out of a pipe. There is a stove in the rooms but not usable as there is a added fee for them to turn the power on. The place was very dusty too. We rented 3 rooms and all three were not satisfactory. The owner was very rude and awkward to be around when asked questions like is our room going to be cleaned or anything else. I would stay away for this one. Reasonably priced but don’t expect a clean room or good friendly service.Rooms: The rooms are very filthy. All three rooms we rented had black mold all around bathtub. Also no shower head. Stove is available but not usable unless you pay a fee. The rooms were also dusty.Food & drinks: There were a few good restaurants in the area. A pub across the street and a Greek restaurant on the main drag. We had great meals in both.

Zero stars. Wouldn't recommend this place to people I hate. They just randomly decide you told them you're leaving and kick ya out even though you been there for months. Poorly run and maintenance sucks , they will not plow when ya get big dumps of snow and the sites are mud pits.

I stayed 2 Summers ago in one of the bike sheds . I came without a reservation and they were very accommodating. The shed was perfect for me and my bikepacking gear no complaints and reasonable rates . I hope to do it again next Summer if there still available

I have been staying here since September 26, and it’s been great! I have full hook ups, for a great price. The owners are really nice and friendly.
