Great selection overall, convenient location but pretty overpriced in general (+$17 or 25% over BCLS pricing on a decent Whiskey - and yes I get that independents have a different overhead but still, rather outrageous).All said they did have some very well priced specials near the till even though the fellah behind the counter came off as a bit pretentious and his tasting notes came off as a bit insulting.Generally prefer giving local retailers my business but not at the expense of my dignity.

I've been here many times with no incident, but last night I was refused service because the door bumped me on the way in and because I tripped on the threshold between the cooler and the rest of the liquor store, the same threshold that so many people have tripped over that they to put florescent tape on it (pro tip: put a sign at eye level so people actually see it). The 20 year old working at the time felt that this meant I was too intoxicated to purchase a six pack, and refused to serve me because of this. He also thought it was a good idea to relay and brag about this refusal to the VERY NEXT customer who walked through the door, a conversation I heard while standing outside. While I 100% agree that there are times when it's suitable to not sell more alcohol to individuals who are clearly over the line, I absolutely did not fall into that category. Rather annoyed with this experience, and I haven't ever felt the need to give any business a negative review like this, but dang, train your employees better Village.

Convenient and well stocked. Hours are 9am - 10 (or 11?). A great option to the BC Liquor store which is also great.
