“Honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my diesel X5. These guys do a full once over for your daily needs. Cab filter, air intake filter, tire pressure. If you have any concerns about trans or differential fluids. Bring it up! They’ll check it out with an honest opinion so you don’t have to worry. “Just had Dwight replace the rear calipers on my 30' Motorhome. He kindly agreed to work on it, even though he had to work outside. It is difficult to find shops that will accommodate vehicles this size. My problem was a sticking caliper on one rear wheel. I had replaced the brake pads a year ago. Dwight only replaced the parts that were defective, after checking the braking system thoroughly. He clearly explained what was needed, and ensured he had parts on hand, for my scheduled appointment. After completing the work, he did a road test, and temperature measurement, to confirm everything was OK. Considering what had to be done, the repair cost was reasonable. I highly recommend Kroffat Brake and Wheel. This is a truly professional and honest shop.”

“Two weeks ago I was heading down the island from Comox to Victoria to visit my husband who was undergoing in-patient cancer treatment. It had been raining buckets and my sun roof was leaking - literally gushing water on me. I knew I probably needed new seals but, in the meantime, getting the drains working would keep me dry. All I wanted was someone to shoot a little compressed air down the drainage tubes to clear them. I went to the Ford dealer where I was told they wouldn’t help because they’d need to “assess the problem.” That would require leaving the car there which I clearly couldn’t do. I begged them to just try the drain clearage - it would only take 5 mins. I was willing to pay for it. But the gentleman there was very curt and rude.
So I went to OK Tire next door. Explained my situation and the problem. They were so nice. Within two minutes, they had both drains flowing freely and I was on my way to Victoria to see my husband. They didn’t even want to charge me anything. If you need to buy tires, repair tires, etc., I can attest the crew there are really good-hearted and efficient people!”

“The staff at Dancia took great care of our cheap, rough, old survivor MGB, replacing the fuel pump. I felt as though they treated us to the standard one would hope for with a treasured collector car. The brand-new unit they installed, (luckily) failed while it was still in their possession, and needed to be replaced. Just a faulty pump, shipped by their supplier. They were really fair about the cost. The car being a really rough beater that runs well, but had been sitting a year, the ignition barrel seized up when I went to start it - just unlubricated, and Kevin sorted it out right away (n/c) to get me on my way. Very happy! They also diagnosed another issue that will need to be taken care of as part of ongoing maintenance. Great communication all along the way.
