When the World thinks of Deroche, they think beef jerky. Not a doubt in my mind that this little store is on the top ten places to visit in BC (screw you Whistler!). Definitely worth a stop, their jerky is very tasty. Highly recommend.

I think the Chester's chicken is pretty good at $8.99 for 3 pieces and 6 wedges (there's also many more menu combinations).

Who knew that this unassuming gas station had such a great selection of cured meats? We stopped on our way up to Harrison Hot Spring and found some amazing pepperoni, farmers sausage and my personal favorite landjaegers. They were reasonably priced and delicious. So much so that we stopped on the way back to grab more as plane snacks. We also grabbed two quiches for breakfast and they were great too.
This is a great place to stop if you are heading up to the much more expensive tourist areas. Don't sleep on the landjaeger.

Love stopping here for the jerky & a coffee. Buy a lot of it, it’s so flavourful & delicious, you’ll be sad if you didn’t get at least 20 bucks worth! The staff are nice, the store is clean & there’s lots of parking.

Chicken is great and oh boy that jerky. Every time I go by I stop for some treats. The staff are great and its a pleasure to support the business.
