Rough move. Of the 4 moves I've made in my life, this one ranks at the bottom.
Most significantly, they smashed my TV and broke the handle on my rower, neither of which are covered by the ~$900 I paid for damage coverage; QMM claims this is "packed by owner" (even though I intentionally did NOT box up the TV so they could handle it however they preferred - I suppose that's exactly how they ended up breaking it). Looking at my shipping manifest, a majority of my items were categorized as "packed by owner" Which raises the question: Why is this place selling a product its customers cannot use?? I can't overstate how dishonest I find that to be. If you're looking at working with these folks (which I would not recommend), my #1 advice would be to skip the optional damage coverage and save yourself the cash for the inevitable out-of-pocket damage expenses you'll be paying anyway.
The TV was especially upsetting as I overheard the third-party unloaders laughing about it ("whoops, there goes our bonus") but the unload was so hectic that I didn't have time/foresight to follow up with them right then and there. I only found out about the exact damage after moving several other items they had strategically placed in front of the TV to hide the damage. Super glad I moved my most valuable TV myself.
Damage aside, the rest of the move was nothing but stress and almost all of the guidance I got from QMM on international moves was wrong.
The move manager had me fill out a rather lengthy federal personal effects accounting document that I never had to use anywhere.
I had my load date moved last-minute, and I also found out about my unload date last-minute.
During the load inspection, there was weird drama around whether or not we were ready to go, but I couldn't get any specifics on exactly what the issue was from the driver or the move manager.
I was forced to leave a work conference in the states and show up at customs at an incredibly inconvenient time due to "driver preference" (the alternative was to put the items in storage but at this point I already suspected that would significantly increase my exposure to potential property damage).
QMM's instructions on where to go in customs leads to an "authorized personnel only" zone in the customs building, so learn from my mistake and ignore their instructions.
Got pushed really hard to export my car in the states and import it to Canada with QMM's "help", and I've since found out that almost that entire process was incorrect for my situation and would've cost me dearly in taxes had I followed the guidance.
I guess the one positive note is that all my stuff did indeed make it here, but even that note is tainted by the fact that I'm still unpacking most of it many weeks after QMM hastily unloaded my property.
I think if you're looking for a company that has strong expertise in international moves and is reasonable to work with, you can almost certainly do better.

Excellent service. The team did everything they could to make the move as hassle free as possible. Definitely recommend this over trying to move yourself - the cost is worth it!

Always a great experience! As usual, some notes on care taken with items and environment, but given the efficiency of the crew, they did a great job. Trevor was very positive, accommodating and communicative.

Used this company to move from Toronto to Vancouver as it was listed on my new employer’s website. For the customer service alone, I would never recommend this moving company to any of my friends, family or colleagues.I was connected to a Move Manager from the Vancouver region. My Move Manager constantly sent me wrong emails, wrong dates, wrong information, and even other customer’s billing information and invoices and would never respond in time or answer inquiries appropriately. I have various examples and evidence of horrible service I outlined to them during my experience. I wish I went with a different company. I will be emailing my employer about re-thinking recommending QMM.

From the quotation to the final box being unloaded the staff and service was by far better than any other mover we have used over the last 20 years (6 moves). We couldn't be happier with QMM.

Very poor management and staff. They will waste your time with the exercise that they are busy. Very difficult to complain to their senior management since sales will not allow you!!! They deserve no stars at all.

We had an amazing experience for our recent move from Seattle to Montreal with QMM! Everyone we worked with went above and and beyond to make sure our move would go smoothly. This was very important for us moving across the continent and the border with 3 small kids. The initial quote was very accurate and the fixed price gave us confidence from day one. We received extra help from our move coordinator Hanna to import our vehicle from the US into Canada even though we would be driving it ourselves. And our truck drivers Steve and Angela were really amazing and gave us confidence that our goods would be safe with them! We would recommend QMM to anyone moving long distance within Canada or across the border.

Absolutely and 100% recommend QMM. Jeff and his team were timely, professional, thorough and careful with the packing and moving process. Aiden was great in the initial quote and agreement process while Hannah provided a lovely white glove service, checking in on us every few days and keeping us updated throughout. We are going to be loyal clients of QMM thanks to this wonderful team who made our move from Toronto to Raleigh seamless.

An absolutely amazing company. Highly recommend. Everyone in their team is completely professional with outstanding communication. When they unloaded at our storage facility, another family came over and commented that they had personally moved multiple times in the last few years and that they just wanted to say they could see what a fantastic job the team from QMM was doing. This spoke very highly to us as it isn't often that someone takes the time to comment in this way, let alone someone with recent experience with other moving companies.

I am the manager here at Green Storage in downtown Toronto. And I just want to see Greg Campbell and his guys are moving out a client right now and they are doing a great job. They are so polite, so courteous and I highly recommend if you’re gonna move, picked up.
