I asked the groomers for a bath for my dog. They told us that they had to cut a little bit of fur because his fur was too tangled. They pretty much shaved him. I am speechless

I phoned for an appointment yesterday for a nail trimming for my dog. Was told to come in as a walk in which I did. When I arrived I was asked if he had had a rabies shot. I said I didn’t know as I am dog sitting for my granddaughter. I did mention that his vet was in Langley. They phoned and couldn’t through to them.
Then I was told they would not be able to do his nails.
I understand you may need that information but to spring it on me was wrong.
My problem was why wasn’t I told this during the phone call? Would have saved me a drive to your store.
Maybe you can relate this requirement to other customers before they arrive at your store.

It was okay. If you need products, seems like they got a lot but if you're looking for a new pet, a new addition to the family, not much other than fish. Pet stores are no where close to what they were when I was a kid. My kids were bored after 10 mins versus when I was a kid, we used to hang in there for hours learning about all the animals they used to have because they had variety unlike now. Even the fish department was lacking in anything cool and exciting.

I took my poodle for his first professional haircut and Barbara did an amazing job! I know he can be a handful yet she still did an amazing job!

Special shout out to Andrea at Petsmart Grooming in Tsawwassen. She is awesome. She’s been taking care of our dogs’ grooming for a while and I can’t believe I haven’t already reviewed here. Andrea clearly loves her job and loves the pets that she works with. I see it Every time I’m in there. We’ve tried a bunch of the other groomers in South Delta and none of them come close to the work Andrea does.

Took my dog here for a big grooming with a blowout,brush, etc. All they did was bathe her. Tons of hair that was never even touched and her neck came back full with matts. For the money I spent that is unacceptable. I will be taking her somewhere else where they will actually do their job properly.

I am a door dash driver .I often visit this store..But the staff membee Christine is really rude .No manners at all .This is not the first time she has been rude .If we need help then she is not reqdy to help.She always says its not my job to assist you..What I feel is she does this because of the racism .She is polite to the customer customers..Everytime she tries to humiliate all the door dash drivers.If we are working for door dash then she is also a worker of petsmart.She is not the boss.

I know this review isn't going to do anything about the issue, but I feel compelled to do something.
During my last visit, I witnessed a PetSmart associate giving very wrong misinformation about the care of a pet to a customer. When I corrected the associate, she became defensive about their misinformation and doubled down. As a PetSmart associate myself (from another location), I find it appalling that the company would have a person working in their shore who shows such little regard for the animals in their care, and doesn't care about the conditions they go into.
The misinformation I heard is the associate said the 5 gallon minimum for Betta fish isn't true, and they can live their entire life in a cup totally fine. I argue just because they can survive doesn't mean they are having a good life, but the associate strongly disagrees.
I don't think this person should be spreading this information to customers who don't know any better.

We Really loved the grooming salon ladies up until After our appointment today.. we unfortunately overheard the ladies who had just groomed our two dogs, calling us stupid Ect, and saying really mean things about us.. it was unfortunate that we over heard them..
we have been coming here for a long time, and had a great relationship with the groomers Andrea and Michelle … ( or so we thought )
we feel very disrespected about what we overheard Andrea and Michelle saying about us after our appointment. Very disappointed..
The ladies were always so nice to our faces. I guess after you leave, they talk poorly of you…
we really liked these ladies.. it sucks to know what they really think of us When we have been nothing but nice to them.
I personally thought very highly of these adult women..
we will not be returning after what was said about my mom.. By two, grown adult women..
please bring this up to management so that you guys don’t lose anymore business, due to your adult staff talking poorly about customers..
How unethical, for Grown women to be speaking like this at their job..

Staff is great! The store is always clean and organized. I prefer to do online pick up at this location instead of Richmond. All their clearance/ sale items are well marked and there is tons of parking close by.
