Engraving on fine items not suited to laser or table engraving methods. This is done on an old school pantograph using brass font type sets and jigs and holders to stabilize the item being engraved allowing for a more versatile range of items. Everything from very large pots and bowls to the tiniest of bracelets and charms. Diamond drag is suitable for most metals including soft pewters, silver & gold to harder knife blades and base metals. (powder coatings are not suitable). Laurie is an experienced engraver with over 40 years in the industry, but finding a rewarding niche in the pantograph engraving has filled a void in the industry as more jewelers and engravers ditch the pantograph for the computerized engraving systems.
