Thrifty foods tssawwassen today in the evening. The bakery staff is amazing. A young lady, her name was Muskan is such a helpful person I’ve met in there. She was so quick to help. I got a cake for my friends birthday, she made little hearts on it. Which were definitely so adorable and cute. Also, I was looking for the English
Muffins she walked with me and found some for me. So

“Even if it doesn't have as big of a selection as bigger chain grocery stores, I find myself coming here much more often. It's close to home and the staff is friendly. The quality of the meat is really good, and their produce section usually has a good selection. They have all the basics that I regularly need.One time I came in looking for dried chives, the manager or owner (I assume) came over and offered to help me look. When he realized that they did not stock chives, he ordered some on the spot. And now they should be stocking chives! It is nice to have that kind of local connection you wouldn't find at bigger stores.”

“I recently stopped by this Safeway location to pick up some grocery items and was pleasantly surprised to find Safeway in Canada. I always thought it was primarily a U.S. West Coast chain, so it was nice to see it here. The store was well-stocked with a good variety of items, and I easily found everything I needed. While shopping, I also picked up a lovely plant as a gift, which was a nice bonus. The store was clean, organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a convenient and positive shopping experience!”

“After numerous terrible experiences over the years, related to a certain employee that constantly failed to do her job, I spoke with the manager, Brad. It turned out to be a wonderful conversation. Brad listened to my concerns and even refunded $32.00 that I had over-paid due to that employee. It's sad & disturbing that certain union employees are able to underperform without appropriate accountability. Due to the unions in BC, it's virtually impossible to dismiss an employee for continued poor work performance.I felt Brad went above & beyond to compensate for her less than adequate work ethic. Thanks Brad!”

“We really like this store. They have a good selection of European products to choose from, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location isn’t ideal in my opinion—we usually spend at least an hour getting there—but it’s still worth the trip.”
