This is Ladner’s beloved local bookstore—small town, small store, but filled with great finds. It’s impressively well-stocked, and the staff are incredibly friendly, always eager to chat and offer personalized recommendations. They also host fun monthly giveaways and create cool opportunities for community interaction, like book clubs and more. While the books might be a bit pricier than buying from Amazon or Indigo, I’m all for supporting local businesses. I love popping in from time to time, even if it’s just to browse. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home with books.

Best bookstore in the area!! I went in to browse and came out with the greatest book recommendation! Read it in a week, bought the sequel and the prequel shortly after. The staff really knows their books and can make excellent reading recommendations based on what you tell them. Amazing atmosphere and a variety of books. A must visit for every book fan or anyone as they have a great selection of non book items as well ;)

Very pleasant locally owned bookstore. Nice well chosen selection. New books only. Pleasant staff who are obviously all readers themselves.

Black Bond Books Ladner is a true treasure trove for book lovers. Warm atmosphere, great selection, very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. And located in a great area with nice shops to visit.

They had the book i was looking for, Rachel Maddow. Small store so limited selection. But small town , good to support local buisness when you can . Not online ! ? Save .25 cents and local businesses fail .

Love the feeling of walking into a bookstore and exploring rows and rows of books. Black Bond Books in Ladner is lovely! The staff are helpful and friendly; bookstore has great selection and good sales pricing, and book signings are done in-store which is awesome!
