Great location
Lots to do in Creston
We’ve “ lived” here almost a year while building a home .
Bathrooms clean
They look after the park
Great side area for kids and family to play
And an on leash area as well as access to a dog run behind the hotel .
Only thing missing for me is bigger trees
The pull thru sites have trees.
And the wifi could use more jam, when the park is full it’s off and on depending on usage .
It can get hot in summer months you’ll need an awning !
They keep the riff raft out and have had police presence coming through to keep it safe .
Lots of area right outside your park to hike, walk ,run etc
Timmies is walking distance and 2 grocery store and booze stores are either 5 min drive .
Every Saturday seasonally the market garden is in town .
Looove it here

Several issues to deal with
1) train tracks (this one’s on me for lack of research). Train goes though twice a night and it’s in a crossing, meaning it has to blow its horn. Wakes everyone up
2) poor maintenance- weeds everywhere and when I tried to hook my 30 amp camper to the 30 amp receptacle the breaker tripped every time the Ac unit turned on (not an issue with my AC it works fine in the 4 other campgrounds I visited during the summer
3) they changed my reservation. I had selected and reserved a specific site and they emailed me to say that they were changing it (twice)
4) got locked in the bathroom. The lock appeared fine and locked correctly but wouldn’t unlock all the way. I was stuck in there for 10 minutes until I could finally finesse the lock open
5) no on-site management or attendees. They apparently work from home. This could explain the lack of maintenance
6) after all the issues I had, I reported them and also informed them that I was leaving early because of the problems. Was denied any form of refund.

I called to make sure they were not closed for the season and was warmly greeted by Mary with "Arrow Mountain RV Park" . Not all businesses know to do that. She located a site for me and sent me a text with payment info and site details. The price was reasonable and and found out why - no shower facilities. Oh well. The website was not terribly mobile friendly. Overall it is a stark and tidy overnight spot that works just fine!Oh! most campgrounds do not plan for anyone to arrive after dark and signs can be just about impossible in the dark. A reflective border to at least give us a chance to find the sign.

Great spot for short stay, with full service on pull through spots. Three was a train that did come through at night but wasn't too bad. I would stay again. Spots are not too big or too shaded but suited my needs.

We found this campground on our way from Vancouver Island to Ontario in June 2021. It was handy to the highway and with easy access to the sites. We returned for one night on our way home in August. We decided to stay for two nights this trip. The park is small, simple and clean. It was quiet except for the train that rolled by around 10 pm. Check in was easy. When you reserve you're given a site. They come to your site in a golf cart for a very easy check in. The woman who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. Sites are a good size with full service. We didn't use the washrooms/showers because we're in a self-contained unit. This park is great for people travelling through the area or spending a few nights. We'll be happy to return.

Worked great for us, close to town where family is, has hydro and water and sewage hook up. Easy to book a site!
