“I love going here with my family. The portions are really large and the food is simple, made well and delicious. I typically get the burgers, which are some of the best in town. My kids get the breakfasts or chicken fingers and really like them and my wife gets an assortment of stuff and has always been very happy. One of my favourite greasy spoon type restaurants in town.”

“My kids call it Fancy Delicious! Often on Saturday we always forget whipped cream for our waffles so we head here it is always open. The people are very quiet but I don’t mind. Great store, helpful when we are in a pinch. Just a tip the bathrooms are Quite dirty I am Not shocked because it is a convenience store.”
“Grocery shopping experience as one would expect from a store of this size. One of the nice features is the Chinese Food and soup/sandwich with a seating area to eat at. You can also take out your order. There are different combo options for one, two or three items, Dinners for three or four and more. The food is fresh and delicious!”

The Staff is super friendly - always worth a bonus! ?
This Store is somewhat new to our Valley, and we've only recently started to incorporate it in our Sat morning rounds of visiting the CV Farmers Market (on the Exhibition Grounds) and the Butchers Block before stopping off at The Old Farm Market (this Store - where Thrifty Foods used to be). It is surprisingly well stocked with a variety of goods that would be hard to beat, including some exotics, like products from India, China, Japan, Germany etc. which has its own little section in case you hail from there and feel a bit nostalgic. They carry local produce from all over Vancouver Island as well as processed foods, but one of the biggest draw cards for our Family, is certainly the Fanny Bay Oysters outlet in the Store ?”
