professional conduct of this place is not good. manager is untrustworthy. She lies to make customer wait longer to fix issue.. Very rude demeanor. Covering for shady owner I imagine. They delivered a damaged product...then strung us along telling us a repair man is coming to fix it. He came 4 months later and said he didn't bring the right part and didn't bring his tools. lol A year later I hired someone to fix it. They refused to pay for that. Glad to be done with them. Too much stress.

Ordered furniture set, stationary couch and recliner couch end of Aug 2023. Received set in October. The pics and video are of the initial (received in October 2023) and replacement recliner couch (replacement received Jan 2024). Yaletown Interiors brought recliner to their warehouse to fix the problem of the reclining mechanism hitting the frame. After the fix I find myself sinking in the middle seat and sinking into a corner on one of the side seats. Yaletown Interiors response is that it is a "comfort issue" and not a defect. (There are cracks in the frame). It's almost a year since we put a deposit on this furniture set and +++emails later...no satisfaction.

Moving to west van and came out to view furniture in their store.
The lady who came to “look after us” literally looked me up and down before asking what our intentions were.
Safe to say we did a quick circle of the store and saw that the furniture in there is nothing pleasant and looks rather cheap especially for the price tag.

Low quality with high price. Very poor customer service and they are not responsible for any damages after, even if it’s because of their poor quality! No surprise they have “No Return” policy!
As soon as payment is done the smile on their face will fade away.

We love our new couch! We went to Yaletown Interiors and were impressed with the selection of furniture in their showroom! Saleema helped us customize the perfect couch to fit our room and needs! Their electronic display helped us visualize the sofa. The leather swatch variety helped us choose the perfect colour to match our furnishings. I would highly recommend everyone to visit Yaletown Interiors for all their furniture needs!

We purchased a sectional sofa set a few years ago but often times when I look and sit on our sofa, I'm just reminded that this sofa is not as promised. We didn't have much experience buying furniture and had only previously bought small pieces from Costco. Our nice saleslady said this was a custom furniture shop with pieces made in North America so it will be much better quality than premade pieces from Asia. She specifically said it would last a long time like 10-20 years! Within the first 6 months we felt the sofa was a lot softer than we expected. We were told that's the texture we had selected and the store sent a person to also verify it. But even so, we have never had a sofa this soft and I don't imagine these seats could last that long if they were already that soft. Now another couple years have passed and the fabric and seats look pretty worn down. It's coming up on 3 years only and I definitely don't feel proud showing off the sofa. So I'm just saying - if you're told the sofa will be a good enough quality to last 10+ years, I'll say I'll be lucky if it gets to 10 years.

Can’t speak highly enough of the experience we had buying from yaletown interiors. My parents recommended coming here and after I saw their gorgeous new couch we decided to check it out. Our salesperson Laura was so incredibly helpful and not pushy in the least. She genuinely helped us find something that worked best for our space and budget. (thank you, Laura! You rock!)
We went to all the stores on furniture row and by far this store had the best quality and selection. Some of the pieces are made in Canada as well which is fantastic. We ordered an unusual custom color of leather and it ended up arriving sooner than expected and was set up for us in less than
10 minutes.
Couldn’t believe the amazing selection of electronically reclining sofas and chairs there too. We went to lazy boy to compare and they actually only had 4 models on the floor that electronically reclined in their entire showroom, all of which looked very dated and frumpy. Everything in yaletown looked sharp and stylish with a large selection of classic pieces that will always be in style. The pricing is very on par or better than the other stores on the row, yet the quality seems to be much nicer? No cheapo soon-to-be-pilly microfiber etc. Nice, thick fabrics and stunning leathers.
Thrilled with our purchase, thank you Yaletown Interiors! You’ve made a couple of loyal customers for life.

I recently purchased a recliner from Yaletown Interiors. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I particularly liked the warranty this store offers. I am a very satisfied customer!

Talk about a perfect experience at a furniture store. Leigh Ann was quick to acknowledge and greet us after we walked in. A couple of questions, and she pointed us in the right direction. Through the entire time that we were exploring, she had the perfect balance of letting us just look while also being available in case we had questions or to point out other areas of the huge showroom we could look. No pressure, no feeling like she was breathing down our necks, no hawk-watching to make sure we didn't stuff a mattress or something down the front of our shirts (like that other store named after construction material!). When we finally decided, she answered any additional questions we had, and still gave us room to change our minds if we wanted. Then Rashid, the managing partner, joined us to help complete the paperwork, etc., and he was friendly and genuine. To our surprise, Rashid told us Leigh Ann had only joined them a month or so earlier! We would never have guessed, given her comfort level and the very savvy style she has.Thank you for making it so easy and comfortable! Merry Christmas to you all, and your loved ones!

We ordered a couch on October 1st they said it will be delivered within 6-8 weeks.I had an important party going on right in 8 weeks so I wanted to make sure it will be delivered on time.They said there is nothing to be worried about and we might get it even on the 6th week.This friday it will be 10 weeks and there are still no updates.I called them and wanted to talk to the associate that helped us through the order, they said her contract is over and she is not working there anymore and they did not accept their delay and said it has nothing to do with Yaletown and it's the factory's fault.They did not even apologize!!!!Very bad customer service!!!Do not trust them with their schedule.

We purchased a sofa and loveseat in October 2022 and paid an additional $439.00 for insurance. While our sales associate was lovely to work with, the company that they partner with to provide insurance, ZucoraHome, is extremely unreliable and does not respond to correspondence. This is especially frustrating considering I am looking for them to fix the discoloration that occurred from their cleaning service. It is irresponsible for Yaletown Interiors to actively sell a service that is so unreliable.Edit for reply:We appreciate you taking the time to reply, but nice try. The damage on our couch was clearly done in spots cleaned by the technician. Further, our criticism with Zucora (and you) on our review was entirely based on their failure to communicate or answer correspondence in anyway until they received public complaint.We reached out to them with a request and immediately received a canned response that clearly indicated they didn't actually read our message (much like the response you have provided here). Upon follow-up by us, they failed to contact us for 2 weeks. When we provided our negative review they contacted us within 24 hours.It shouldn't take public review for companies to reply to simple requests. Both you and Zucora have shown an utter lack of professionalism and decorum in this matter.We strongly discourage anyone who cares about customer service from shopping at Yaletown, and certainly to deny their upsell for this horrible "insurance".
