“Came across this store recently and it's probably the cleanest, most organized thrift store I've been in and it doesn't have that weird secondhand store smell. Fair prices anditems people actually want to buy, not just a bunch of junk. I'll definitely be stopping in regularly now that I know of it.”

Bought a bassinet at Once Upon a child, when we brought it home we realized it was just a bit to big for the space. No worries though, because they have a 7 day return policy which is explicitly lists equipment on the receipt as returnable.

Two days after purchase I bring the bassinet in with the receipt and start the return process. When we attempt to complete the return it's declined as too large of a return. The cashier, Krista calls her manager on the phone for help who tells her that equipment is only refundable for store credit, despite what was on the receipt and on the multiple signs at the cash register.

Krista then calls the owner and doesn't hear back. So she takes it into her own hands and finds a way to give a refund by breaking it into smaller chunks.

To the owner & manager - please fix your policy and/or signage, you nearly lost a new father as a potential life long customer, only Kristal's quick thinking saved the customer relationship.”

“I’m overdue for this review… this was a few weeks ago!!! But I would like to thank Sabrina from the bottom of my heart. Without knowing, she turned a previous bad experience at the store into a positive memorable one! I was upset with the lack of cashiers open earlier that evening, and ended up forgetting my wallet in the only register open with a grumpy cashier. When I went back to the store I was even scared to approach the cashier to ask about my wallet but thankfully, Sabrina and another friendly store associate (blond, short hair, her smile is what saved the night too!) were there to receive me. I looked very frustrated, yet they were very professional to me. Sabrina confirmed the wallet was mine, gave it back to me, would not accept a tip and even gave me a coupon to go back to the store ?♥️ I have been to many Value Villages around. And this one is my favorite because of her. Thanks, Sabrina! That’s not the first time I have noticed your exceptional talent in the store, you are a true stand out! And you saved my day, faith in humanity restored ♥️”

“Value village can be so hit and miss. This one is higher marked- you need to know your brands. But have been lucky for women's work wear, shoes, and boys clothes”
