Fast passport photos

Misleading prices. They advertise $10 passport photos in the window, but then charged $15 and said you had to book an appointment for $10 price. But the sign in the window doesn't say anything about an appointment.

I'm not usually one to post reviews, but would give zero stars if I could.
I made an appointment for my baby son and paid online. I did not receive a reciept.
When I got there he said he needed the order number (which I didn't have). After taking the photos, he told us to come back in 30 minutes (despite the website and signage saying 10 minutes). We left for an hour and a half - during this time I tried to contact their head office to get the order number. I did not hear back. When I returned, the photos still had not been printed yet. Since we did not have the order number still, I paid again for the photos. Thinking that head office would be reasonable and refund me the originally charged fee once they finally got back to me (and I provided proof of the instore payment). As a side note, I was charged $15 online (despite advertising $9.99) and $20 in store.
I was not shown the pictures prior to them being put in the envelope and was told not to touch them for a while because the ink needed to dry. When I got home I checked the photos and they were clearly unusable. While Passport Canada is more relaxed when it comes to baby pictures, baby or parents hand in the photo is an absolute no. My sons hand was clearly in the centre of the photo.
I reached out to head office again explaining that not only had I now paid twice, but that the photos were not usable. During this time I had to take my son elsewhere as we needed the passport done urgently. I've heard very little from them, but they are refusing to issue me either refund. The only resolution they've offered is to retake the photos, and only if I provide proof the government refused them. Which would mean waiting a month plus for my application to be rejected and returned to me.
AVOID. I recommend going to staples instead, they did an excellent job on my son's photo (plus it took only about 5 minutes).

Small shop that does cheap passport photos. 9.99 is not bad compared to other places. You don't have to buy the passport photo online to get that price as it is also advertised on the window

Great job. Told 15 minutes rather than the 5 posted. Also quoted 14.99 for photos, instead of the 9.99 posted. After waiting 30 minutes with no photos or even an attempt to print, I walked out. No photos and complete waste of my time. Save your time and go to London Drugs.

They said that in order to get the 9.99 passport photo price you need to prepay online. That is not made clear to you at all on the website nor on any signs at the store. Misleading and not a great experience. Why make customers jump through hoops like this. It was unnecessarily confusing.
