We saw frequent signs of Shirley Brown in our Mill Creek Village area, we contacted and everything started off great as she said that she already has a buyer lined up. So, we signed the contract to go with her in October 2023 to sell our home. The contract was for 6 months and we did not question as she had earlier mentioned that there was buyer lined up. Few of our neighbours were not that happy that we chose here as our selling agent and told few not so good comments about how she goes about selling. Since we were moving out of province and already signed a contract, we had no time to cancel and try find another agent. We handed over the keys to her and left confidently as we thought the deal will be closed soon.
It took several months for the property to be sold and were getting the same lies about the market condition, buyers not happy with the PAD rental fee etc. God knows how many open house offers were rejected by the agent in order to bring her own know party? 3 offers came in total in the six months that the property was on sale and only the last one worked out. To our disbelief, the agent had cut some deal with the buyer and buyer agent, i.e, worked for the best interest of the buyer and not to our interest. We then recollected the words that our neighbours had told us about this agent.
Things went sour after that with her and we closed the deal as we did not want to deal with her anymore.
Will never recommend her unless someone want this seller agent to turn to a buyer agent.

John was super helpful and professional. He helped us strategize the whole process: what needed to be done to maximize the value of our home, and the timing of when to sell, the asking price, etc. The result was fantastic, getting way over asking. John made the process low stress by taking the time to explain everything in advance, and as well went. He was always available and very responsive. A big thanks to John and his team!! I highly recommend them!

In dealingcwith Marie Taverna of West Real Estate, I find her very unprofessional and extremely rude. Perhapscas a person of visible minority thats how she expected ne to be treated. A realnestate agent has to personable, human and free from prejudice while deal with tge cluent fsirly and ethically, Marue failed to exhibit these qualities.she was almost hushing me away and the looks on her face are unforgettable.
