I took my car to the Coquitlam branch thinking that openroad Toyota must be able to fix Toyota. Clearly not. I had a fender bender where my trunk was hit. We had just finished a grocery run 5 minutes before and the trunk door works perfectly fine. It doesn't open properly after the accident. I mentioned it to the estimator when I took my car to the shop. It gets stuck and need quiet a bit of force to open. Took the car to this repair shop, when I got it back, the trunk door still doesn't open. I talked to the shop personnel and they said it's because my car is old. Not because of the accident. I mentioned that it work perfectly fine just minuites before the accident and they insist it's not accident related. Their explanation is that my car is too old.
Would not recommend taking your car for repair here.
July25 2024 update. I definitely would not recommend this place. Zero stars if that's an option. Manager said he called me multiple times but someone who doesn't speak English picked up. I've left voice mail indicating I only have one number, not the one he called, and he still called the wrong number.

Wow! Can’t say enough about customer service! Outstanding - Nick, the General Manager dealt with a problem that originated in 2020 and most likely wasn’t caused by his shop. Nick returned my phone call and then made time for me to come in and then fixed my seatbelt issue in no time at all! Highly recommend Nick and his employees at OpenRoad Autobody Coquitlam!

Make sure you get a courtesy car, not a rental car. It took 4 weeks to get fix my car(2 weeks longer than expected). Any information was provided. I had to pay extra rental car expense, $350. I will not go this place again.

Exceptional work. The craftsmanship and bodywork are top shelf. But be prepared to be very annoyed with the receptionist. Incompetent at best, flimsy excuses for poor administration and communication skills. The rest of the staff's attention to detail and customer care helps to make up for the annoyances.

Terrible customer service. Take your business somewhere else. At first, the receptionist I met there was super polite when doing the initial car inspection. However, dropping off my vehicle for repair was a nightmare.

Amazing service and fast repair time. Brought my Tesla Model 3 in and left with it in brand new condition. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
