I've already recommended this place to my friends.
My BMW mechanic put me on to Tien at Ian's Auto.
Always dubious of mechanics, Tien assured me he'd search out the problem and give me a play by play of what the problem might be.
After diagnosing it they gave me a date to pick it up, when I arrived it wasn't quite ready but they took care of me while they finished off the repair.
From start to finish, all the staff I've met there have given me top rate service.
My Jeep is all the better thanks to Tien and Ian's Auto.

I was a customer for 2.5 years until I realized that the service that I receive does not match the quality and professionalism that you want to get as a customer. They take money, give you low quality work, and live with this until you need the next repair of your car. It's been 2 times that my car needed to be checked properly, and eventually, I almost ended up having a very serious car accident because they " missed" to check it properly. The 1 star goes to Beatta because it's not her responsibility to check the work of the mechanic.

A few months ago I had the misfortune of dealing with Ian's Auto Repair , where I was intentionally ripped off. The mechanics deliberately caused damage to my vehicle and then charged me exorbitant fees to "fix" the issue, they were dishonest and misleading throughout the process.
It started with an oil change, as soon as I drove my vehicle home, started leaking oil, I took my vehicle back, the owner/mechanic looked at it and stated that its the valve cover! I told the mechanic that my vehicle has been always serviced at Ford dealership and never leaked but leak started as soon as he changed the oil. He stated that it was a coincident and my vehicle is leaking because of faulty valve cover gasket ! He estimated the repair around 400 dollars, "and insisting that also ball joints needed replacement for only 900 dollars! ...reluctantly, I agreed to the $400 dollars repair on valve cover since I had no other choice but to fix the oil leak.
However, after they changed the valve gasket cover, leak continued, I kept bringing my vehicle back and they kept saying that is normal and leak will stop eventually !! 2 weeks later, leak did not stop , I took it back again, this time he said 'Oh its the oil pan" I questioned the mechanic why he changed the perfect valve cover gasket if the problem was oil pan! And how come there was no sign of oil leak in previous oil change report! He mumbled ' well valve gasket needed to be replaced! He estimated 900 dollars for the oil pan ! I told him no , I brought in my vehicle for oil change with no issues and now you keep charging me to fix an issue which you have created. He disagreed, of course.
This place used to have a good reputation when owned by Keelan and Ian, but not now. Its gone way downhill.
Find somewhere else to take your car.
Dishonest mechanics, Untrustworthy repair shop.

My AC was needing a replacement and they quoted me almost half of the dealership quotes. Got it done in a day. Receptionist was super friendly! Highly recommend.

In the last thirty days I’ve spent 1600.00+on my 2005 Honda CRV at Ian’s automotive. I was told it was completely safe to take on a trip. Five days later it stopped working in traffic. Bcaa came and towed it to Ian’s on Tuesday. I’ve been lied to 3 times in 3 days and they have broken the hood latch and blamed the tow driver and here it’s Friday and still haven’t even done a diagnostic test! Now tells me Friday afternoon that he’s going on holiday next week! He could have been honest from the start! I will never be back and HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Nope - They used to be good when they were owned by Keelan and Ian before that but not now. Its gone way downhill. Took my car in 3 times to figure out a problem and they could not figure it out. They ignored what i told them was not the problem, and replaced a perfectly fine alternator. (Alternator was testedprior to this and was fine) Took it to another Mech and they figured it out in 10 minutes. I had to get them to refund everything, parts and labour. They seem to use the process of trial and error, but that doesnt work when you have so many moving parts. Disappointing and a waste of time. They only got one star cause they did refund me the labour. While i was in their office waiting, 3 other people came in with similar complaints. Find somewhere else to take your car. Not very capable mechanics. Then when i came to pick up car - they parked beside garbage bin and car had garbage on the roof of my car. Also 1 week after we got it back, a brand new fan belt mysteriously broke after they installed a tension arm. What a coincidence!

Amazing service, both regarding the customer and the car. The person at the front counter is extremely knowledgeable and polite while going above and beyond. Even over the phone prior to the appointment questions and queries were answered easily and promptly.Prices are very fair, and the work done to the car - as well as the care that was taken - was fantastic.Thank you for your hard work! I love IAN'S AUTO REPAIR.
They did the repairs kindly and honestly.
In particular, the office lady's Beata is really kind and honest with customers.
I have been repairing cars in Canada for 20 years.
IAN'S AUTO REPAIR is the best, most reliable and trustworthy shop.
I highly recommend.
If you get repairs done at this shop, you will never regret it.
