I bought a pair of jeans and when I went to wear them to work, I noticed there was a rip in them. I returned a week or so later to return the defective jeans after wearing them just once and the staff member told me to return them to the warehouse. So I called the warehouse and they said no you can’t return them here if you have to take them back to the store. I took them back to the store and the manager said I needed it in writing if I want to return it. So after days of emailing with customer support, they finally said that I could come return them. I came in today to return them and the manager kept cutting me off, saying that I can’t because it was over 30 days. I tried to explain the situation to her, but she just kept ignoring what I said and referred to the refund policy regardless of what customer support said. In the end, she said you can’t return these sorry and walked away. Very unimpressed. Make sure you do a full analysis of whatever you purchase, so this unprofessional situation won’t happen to you.

Security guard wouldn’t let me in because “you are white, only my brown friends can shop here” when I complained to management they sided with him

Very rude staffs, and are not helpful at all. It felt like it was a requirement to be rude so you can work at h&m.

I have had several disappointing shopping experiences at H&M in Coquitlam Centre Mall. Rude staffs, bad quality clothes with high prices and poor customer service. It’s almost impossible to exchange something in H&M. Never buy anything in H&M?

I bought an item online. I wasn't sure how it would fit and didn't realize it was from their maternity line (even though it said MAMA, yes I am dumb lol). When I finally realized I called customer service and asked if it was possible to cancel the order as i was worried about the fit. The agent assured me that if it wasn't suitable I would be able to return it in store so I kept the order and waited for it to be delivered. When it arrived, sure enough, it was way too big. I made my trek into the store only to be told that since it was on sale and bought online, I would have to mail it back to the warehouse. I even asked if they would be able to make an exception as that was not what I was told. The SA asked for a manager to authorize it, the manager there looked at the item and even after hearing my explanation and what I was told, denied the refund and told me I had to send it back via Canada Post (which was another misinformation as it had to be sent back via Purolator and NOT Canada Post). I drove home quite irritated and called customer service. They once again advised me that my return was ELIGIBLE FOR IN STORE RETURN. I asked them to call the store and speak to the manager. They told me that the manager has now agreed to process the refund for me if I went back the same day. I did, got my refund but NO apology whatsoever from the manager that denied my refund the first time. Terrible customer service and clearly the leadership team there really needs to be re-trained and informed about updated changes/procedures.I gave 2 stars only because I did end up getting my refund but honestly, I would not be shopping with H&M again.

Thr shopping experience I had before was great and was a long term customer. I go in now and you get followed or watched like a hawk as you shop its not a great shopping experience anylonger .
