A week in and I am really enjoying my Effydesk. You can tell it is made of high quality material. While the installation instructions were not super clear, it all came together nicely. Overall I would recommend.

The table was deliver in two stages. First I received the wooden top and 2 weeks later an opened box with the legs. They left the legs at the hall and no message was sent to let me know. A company that definitely doesn’t care, as I never received a single message saying that they forgot one part of the table, and they still in silence mode.

Final update 10/18 - Ok .. so finally got the desk. Unfortunately it was WAY too late for us to ship to Florida with all of our stuff. So I had to put it in our car to drive it down. So in the end, I got it .. was exactly what I ordered, but took almost an entire month to get. I didn't find customer service terribly helpful during the process either. I usually had to email them for updates, and the updates were a very standard "we know this is frustrating..". But whatever it got here.
Actual desk review. The actual desk is fantastic. Good quality .. raising/lowering mechanism works well, and it is gorgeous. Assembly was not bad at all.
My only complete is that the screws that came with it for fastening the cable tray to the bottom of the desk aren't even remotely the right size, and there's a GOOD chance we damaged them trying to get them in. They are WAY too big. Removing 1 star for that ... but everything else is great quality. Going to give them a other shot and order a chair. Stay tuned.
Update 10/1 - Finally emailed customer service for an update. Some amount of nothing "they are working with the courier and will update me soon".
Update 9/30 - STILL sitting in delayed status with the same message about the customs issue. Pretty much have lost all hope of getting this tomorrow.
I ordered a desk on September 14th. The Fedex label was created on the 17th, and it seemed to be on the way. On the 18 I noticed Fedex marked the order "clearance delay", and there was an obscure message about "statement is required from consignee". It sat in this status for days until I finally emailed Effydesk on the 23rd to see what the deal is. The emailed back and said they would look into it. As of the 25th, I hadn't heard anything, so I reached out again. That day I received a response from Effydesk stating "We’ve already coordinated with the courier and submitted everything they require. We’re just waiting for their confirmation now, and we’ll keep you posted". The nest day on the 26th, I received another message from Effydesk saying, "This seems to be a new requirement for TSCA. Please return the signed form so we can clear customs." OI signed the form right away, but as of today there is still no change in the shipping status.
Why this is a big deal. My wife and I are moving far away from our current address next week, so everything we own needs to be in a storage container by Oct. 2nd, so it can be shipped to our new address. I ordered this in PLENTY of time to have it in the container before it leaves. Now, it looks like it is NOT going to be here to meet that deadline, and I'm going to have to ship it again to our new home on my own dime. I know that companies cannot be held completely liable for customs issues, but I would expect if there is a shipping delay, it would be dealt with by the company that sold the product without the consumer having to get involved. I'm still hopeful the product will hold up to all the reviews when it finally arrives ... but I feel very disappointed with the lack of attention in assuring advertised delivery estimates are met.
I will revisit this review when it arrives and change it based solely on the quality of the product.

I've had the standing desk for a month already and I have noticed less back and knee pain by finally having a correct ergonomic set up. The wood desk is beautiful! Set up was easy enough with two of us, and the cable management tray and straps kept all the wires up and out of sight. I also purchased the monitor riser and I love the the aesthetic. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I'm very happy with the desk I bought. It arrived quickly and in good conditions. The assembly was straight forward and it's working as expected. I would have loved the table tray for keeping the cords hidden, but they gave me sticky zip ties, which also works.

Love my EFFYDESK! It not only shipped a day early but is great quality! Instructions were easy to follow and they provided a free table tray which keeps all cords hidden! Definitely recommend purchasing one!

Overall, very good. Cable management + power could be better.
I ordered the solid wood top with wireless charging built-in. I also ordered the Single Monitor Arm. I love the colour and how easy it was to assemble. It is easy to adjust the height and save up to 3 preset heights for easy and accurate heights every time. One for my daughter at the lowest height. One for when I'm sitting and working. The last for when I'm standing and working.
The order was delivered from the Vancouver area to Hamilton, Ontario. The courier was Canpar. The box was not in good shape when it arrived. The box for the top was partially opened when it arrived on my doorstep. The box for the legs was dented but had a "FRAGILE - DO NOT DROP" sticker on the box. Luckily, EFFYDESK knows how to package and ship their desks because inside each box is a healthy layer of foam to protect the top and legs. The top had a very THICK layer of foam going around the perimeter to protect the corners where the box may get bumped. Shame on Canpar. Way to go EFFYDESK!
Once the desk was assembled it was time to put together the power component of the desk. The instructions were not great but the kit included zip ties to help manage the wires from the height controller, wireless charger and the power cord. The purchase came with a "FREE" cable tray and came in the same package as the legs. It easily connects to the desk frame under the tabletop. It is helpful to manage the wires for the monitor, laptop charger and PC speakers. Unfortunately, it's not large enough to put a power bar to plug my accessories into it. This means I have quite a few cords dangling down to the floor that I have to make sure are long enough when the desk is at its highest position. Ideally, there would be a power bar built into the under part of the desk and the cable tray would hold the accessories/cables plugged into the desk itself. Then 1 cord goes from the desk to the outlet.
The Single Monitor Arm also connects beautifully to my 35" widescreen monitor. I was worried when I ordered it because it's heavy AF, but the specs said it could handle the weight. I first got it connected, and it immediately dropped down to the desktop. I had a small panic attack before I figured out how to adjust the tension on the arm, and et viola it arose. The kit came with the option to clamp it onto the side of the desktop or to drill and connect through the desktop. I opted to put the rubber onto the arm and mount it on the side. No issues holding the weight up or moving around. Highly recommend it for those with big monitors on your desktop. It lets me push my monitor further toward the rear of the desk to create more space. I couldn't do this with the legs built onto the monitor since it's so large.
The desk has transformed my home workspace. Being able to stand or sit while working and offer a workspace at a height for my daughter is amazing. The cable and power management is my only wish to set this desk to be 5 stars, perfecto. In today's day and age, we are plugging in laptops, monitors, phones, microphones, ring lights, speakers, external hard drives, desktop computers and more. I'd expect a desk that costs $1500+ and already has power built-in to handle this better since it's all being lifted in the air.

Found the perfect standing desk and new Aery ergonomic chair from Effydesk! The customer service was excellent when I reached out with questions about my order - and after setting up my new desk and chair, I couldn't be happier! The sit/stand controls are easy to use, whisper quiet, and the quality of the desk and chair are both excellent, especially considering the price. Great value and highly recommend Effydesk!

I was unsure about having a desk setup at home and there were so many options. Effy desk made it very simple to make my decision, all I can say is that after doing research with other competitors EFFY Desk knocked this out of the park and I could NOT be more happier and impressed. I highly recommend that you get yourself one because they really are the best in my opinion. The parts are high quality, the motor, the equipment just everything truly is the best and I am very pleased with the products I ordered. I will turn to EFFY Desk every time.

This recycled chopsticks desk is really lovely, not to mention super functional. There were some alignment issues when assembling so we had to use a drill. But this is such a great addition to the space.
