I recently visited Dollarama to pick up supplies for my child's school project, and I was really impressed with the experience. The store was well-organized, making it easy to find everything we needed. A special thanks to one of the staff members, a very helpful lady, who went out of her way to assist us in finding the right materials. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for her name, but thank you for the excellent customer service!

When I was doing check-out, the female manager had a rude tone when I tried to speak to her. She was very unhelpful and made me want to leave that store immediately. I hope she can do properly for assisting customers in the future.

Pros: Great prices. Convenient hours. Well laid out. Very good selection. Great seasonal offerings.
Cons: Crumby self checkout machines. No travel section. Some food offerings are a bit iffy quality-wise (but you learn as you go).

I recently visited Dollarama to purchase a gift card, and to my surprise, they requested to take my ID and make a copy of it. It's shocking that they are unaware this practice is illegal. This raises serious concerns about privacy and data security. Very disappointed with this experience.

If you want to be in and out don't go here!!
It's clean but hire more staff to cater to the high demand of the products in your store.
There shouldn't be a line up and all self-check is out. Hire staff to work when your machines are out.
The staff are doing their best I'm sure.
I would prefer to go to a further location.

They need more staff even if it's a quiet time!!! Visited around 11AM on Monday. Tried to do self check out-it went wrong-waited but only one elderly lady working at the till with 3 people in line, can't help me-looked around other machines-they looked all messed up by these people in line at the till, it all flashing red light for an assistance-I lined up at the till too not to waste any more time-then that lady accused me that if I started at a machine but paying with her!?
Went back recently,
The same poor lady is working alone on Saturday afternoon. This time, she disabled all the self-check out machines ? so all the customers painfully being patient to pay with her.

I don't care if the product or price is good or not when service was horrible today. Today we asked one of the employees if we could attend the restrooms at the store and they seemed to agree after which they were sending us back and forth to talk to the person at the counter and once after 10 min they let us in somehow they came back right away rudely unlocked the door with their key and violated my privacy. No apology and no comment followed. Very strange and unprofessional behavior imho.
