After my weekend camping trip was cancelled I attempted to return my unopened, brand new sleeping bag (6 days after purchase). The rude customer service employee said all sales of sleeping bags were final. When I asked her where this policy was written/ displayed/communicated she switched tracks and said the outer packaging was covered in hair. It wasn't. It had been in the trunk of my brand new car since purchase. This whole experience just grinds my gears.... I feel deceived. Heed my warning that certain products at this store are apparently un-returnable, even when un-opened- you won't know which items until you try to return them.

I can't tell if the staff hate working there or hate working there, their attitude suggests they hate working there. I've yet to meet a staff member willing to help, even knowledgable about where or what products they sell there. Seems they are a disinterested bunch of people and never take your car there for any reason but to park while shopping.Well even though Management there at Coquitlam Canadian Tire on Lougheed read my review above, I was faced with the most rudest customer service person yet. Returning a product that was not what I wanted, my mistake, and hoping to purchase something else in it's place, I was told I couldn't even though I had the original receipt. Luckily for S., my friend was there because I was about to lose my cool, he like a lion tamer, calmed me down and dealt with it. S. gave us a store credit which is what she should have offered in the first place. It was again attitude towards a customer like the customer really doesn't matter. Where on earth does the money come from that puts food on her table? This store once again has infuriated me and I know for a fact I'll be going to Lordco for auto parts and other places for the rest. Just an FYI S., I returned a $14 item and walked out having paid for a $100 + purchase and a future donation of Canadian Tire Money dog eared for the Jumpstart program, paper money I've collected for so long it's over a $100 now.

My review is for the auto service at this branch. I received a promotion for synthetic oil change with a link to make an appointment. After oil change, I realized from the invoice that they used common bulk oil without any promotion. Complaining about that, I was offered to change the oil instead of reserving my promotion for the next oil change. I didn't accept it as it would have wasted the oil.

Clean and well organized worth lots of stock. Very likely that if you are looking for something that CT sells then you will find it here. Staff were pleasant and there was lots of parking available. They also have an auto centre at this location.

We visited to copy our home key, “Ash” if I remember correctly her name, she was helping us this afternoon, as she struggled minimum 10 minutes to get the new key in place to copy, then a co-worker came to help, she realized she put it in the wrong hole and side.She kindly apologized, and gave us the new copy that she struggled with. I double checked and asked her “are you sure this will work!?” Her response “yeah! otherwise come and return it.”We went home to try after dinner, the new copy stuck in half way through , I used all my power to get it out or put it in so we could enter home. I spend literally 1 hour to get it out, was about to broke the key inside hole and had almost needed to go through a big headache middle of the night! But I took it out! My hands hurt, I will for sure come and return it of course,but will make sure talk to supervisors/managers this could’ve gone really wrong , staff has to know if you are not sure about a job as important as, don’t even try! HORRIBLE!

Everytime I go here they seem a little bit ruder.If you order online and pick up in the lockers it's great because you have to deal with the staff. Today I went to pick up my online order and show them my order saying that it's ready and they simply said no that's not it. You know one of those did end conversations where you realize there's no point in really saying anything else. Let's try to explain that maybe the two orders were put together and I just got to know that wouldn't happen. So I just waited patiently for someone to go get my order which took about five times longer than if I would have went over to the Shelf picked up the oil and the oil filter and just paid for it. Long story long I finally did get my order. But let's check I'm seeing with just about every retail location anywhere. Everything's great until you have to speak to anyone about anything

I just wanted to leave my experience I had recently while shopping at Canadian Tire doing my little Knicks knacks. Not my usual hassle at all when I met Nivia, who assisted me with a pleasant offer, how can I help you today noticing I'm lost. I enjoyed keeping up with her speed and most of all she ensured I got what I was looking for and the amazing quality of service she provided. I am certainly going to come back with that smiling genuineness of free smiles and also not to mention how much knowledge she has on products to buy. Thank you so much for your great service.
