Great new exhibits, so good to see Comox having a showcase for our rich art community.

Without question the worst showing I have ever had the misfortune to view.Uninspired, dull and 10th grade. Amateurish to the extreme.Endless poorly painted pieces of mountains, glaciers, trees and rivers. This is not an acceptable standard - nowhere near. The subject matter seriously limited. What places like the Pearl Ellis Gallery do is normalize bad art. It tells people it's OK to get the brushes out , stare at a mountain and throw together garbage like this because someone will buy it regardless. It plays on ignorance.Setting the bar so low means that a potential artist won't improve, grow, develope, explore.Focusing on such a limited subject matter means the people of Comox are being seriously short changed and will never understand how good art can be in it's many, many forms. How very sad.

A little gem in the Comox Valley hosting works of local artists; a new show every month. A worthwhile stop, along side the museum, in Comox.

I loved the art that I saw. The lady who was up front was super kind.

A wonderful community art gallery. I've bought three paintings through the last 15 years. Thank you to all the volunteers that make visiting this gallery possible and such a pleasure. I promise to renew my membership!! It's an ideal location, sharing with our community museum as well. I'll continue to encourage others to stop by and have a tour - It's a local treasure...as most would agree : )

Great little gallery that has frequent show flips so the materials are always changing (fresh)! Worth repeat visits throughout the year, for sure. And there are several "member" shows a year that promote artists in the Comox Valley. The PEG is also attached to the Comox Museum and Archives - which, in itself, is worth the visit. The staff there are FULL of information. It's a super pairing, the museum and the gallery. ????????

One of the best Art Galleries I have been to.
