Drove down from Chemainus to introduce my sister to second hand books - sign on the door indicated it was open Monday from 11:00 until 4:00. It wasn’t! Very disappointed :( Will be back shopping at Fireside Books in Parksville, B.C.

Our regular stop for reading material! We drop off what we are done with and pick up new reading material and the occasional CD or DVD. Always friendly and they have a pretty good idea what they have and where it would be.

I love bucknucks and have been coming here regularly for years, they have such a great selection and you can find so many hidden gems here. You can browse the shelves for as long or as little as you want and you'll probably find some great books (or at least I do, I've never left empty handed here). The staff is very nice. And helpful as well.
