Traveling home I caught the COVID bug. Jasper Inn would not refund my prepaid reservation. Jasper Inn replied that I needed to contact online booking service I used to book room. I orginally did that and booking service came back and told me that Jasper Inn did not reply to there inquiry. Booking Service advised me to contact Jasper Inn directly. I did that and Jasper Inn tells me that I need to contact Booking Service. I am caught in the Argument Circle...guess I will head to my Credit Card Company.

Room had signs of mold and mice. Found out that there are much cheaper places nearby that are nicer.I don't see a way to reply here, so I'll add to the original review. We were in the room with the green door at the bottom of the stairs facing the water, on the 22nd and 23rd of September 2023. Hope that helps.

The fellow that greeted me at the desk was not very welcoming. He was short with me in his conversation. The room was ok. The TV decided to not work with 15 minutes left in the show I was watching. AND 3 out of the 4 paper cups for our morning coffee were already dirty and used. I have written an email to the website and have still heard nothing back. It’s been over a week now. I will share photos of the cups. It was very gross. I wouldn’t be sharing this review if the owners had at least written me back with an apology or even a partial refund.

Such a beautiful location. The rooms are old and run down, the staff were less than friendly, the food truck was disgusting and the people running it were rude (not to mention they had a 10-12 year old girl, the daughter, doing all the work). But the location was beautiful.

We booked this hotel at the beginning of March through Booking.Com as part of a long planned trip to Canada. The website pictures of the rooms looked nice and showed it as a 3 star hotel on the lakeside and close to the waterfalls we wanted to visit so we thought it would be a nice place to stay for two nights. When we arrived the room we were allocated (No 6) was disappointing. It was clean but tired and run down. A cupboard door was missing off the kitchen units, paint was peeling off the window frames , the windows were held open by blocks of wood, the curtains didn’t fit across the width of the window, the sheets on the bed were brushed nylon type material (which in 30C + heat were not comfortable as no air conditioning either just a small fan) and the bathroom also needed repair work doing to the walls. The whole room needed renovating. We went back to reception and said we weren’t happy with the room as it wasn’t what we were expecting. We asked if we only stayed one night could we get a refund for the second night. He said we’d need to speak to the manager who would be in later that afternoon. Spoke to the manager, he said if he could relet the room and booking.Com agreed to waive their booking fee he would refund us one night. We agreed. I sent a message to booking.Com advising them what we were going to do and noticed that by the next morning the room had been relet. I sent an email from the room to the manager saying I’d noticed the room had been relet, could we have a refund and he agreed providing booking.Com waived their booking fee. On our return to the Uk I contacted booking.Com who have tried to help us only to get a message back from Jasper Way Inn saying they had no recollection of our conversations and that we were lying in order to try and get a refund!! I have never complained before and object to being called a liar, I do not recommend this hotel. Every other hotel we stayed in on our trip were far superior.

We were escaping wildfire smoke and landed here! We had a 'budget' room which was quite nice. We could tell they had spruced up the rooms to modernize the look - we liked it. The bathroom was fabulous! Very roomy shower, however had to take a star off because there was no hot water in the morning for a shower. Also, the walls are quite thin, but I don't think anything can be done about that. They supply coffee and tea, but we couldn't find any spoons or stir sticks. If we happen to come through Clearwater again and need a motel, we'll return!

Lovely for a quick drive through stay. Rooms are surprisingly spacious and nicely clean. The blinds were quite thin meaning it let a fair bit of light through in the morning and the mattress was quite loud when you moved on it and could have been more comfortable. Staff were nice. Easy check out drop key system.

The Inn is perfectly situated. However, the building, grounds and interior need much love. The manager was helpful with requests, so all in all, a lovely weekend, thank you.

Found this little gem when our camping plans were cancelled due to the wildfire smoke in Wells Gray. We showed up without a reservation and got a two-bedroom suite overlooking the lake. The manager/owner was kind and super helpful. The suite was nice and the lake was perfect for swimming and relaxing. Will definitely be back!

Me and my sister got to enjoy cabin #1. It was cute and cozy. The full kitchen and small back patio area was the highlight for sure. We want to come back and fully enjoy the lake next time!Nearby activities: The lake is right beside the inn. There is a normal swimming dock and a farther out one for deeper swimming.

Beautiful place to stay. Terrance was phenomenal. Very welcoming and full of knowledge. He walked us around the site, making sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions related to Clearwater, near by activities and the campsite. The rooms were excellent. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The lake view was a bonus! Thankyou for such a wonderful stay. We will be back again soon.Nearby activities: Whitewater rafting, waterfall and gorgeous lake for swimming any time of dayFood & drinks: Great food truck nearby for breakfast, lunch and snacks

Edit: owner’s response is that its not the right hotel…it is the right motel and i have proof. Lets see if we can get ahold of someone else…Waited 5 years to finally get a room while passing through to our vacation destination. What a disappointment! $235 for a room that was filthy, cigarette butts peppered all throughout the front of our suit. No smoke detectors, dodgy wiring..could not wait to get up in the morning and leave. We would have left shortly after checking in at just before 9pm but no other hotels/motels had vacancies ? nothing but a dirty coffee pot and one pack of coffee in a dirty container to see us out the door in the morning. The shower spilled water all over the dodgy electric heater right beside it so we had to cover it with towels. Dog hair on my sons bed, and long black hair on his pillow. Most things taped back together and appliance and dishes filthy.

A perfect gateway from the hustle and bustle of the city we found a wonderful clean and rustic motel that is situated right on Dutch lake in Clear Water BCThe hosts we very pleasant and accommodating. We specially enjoined the goodies from the vegetarian food truck . The samosa were amazing and the onion rings were so crunchy .Such a family friendly place situated next to with a public sandy beach . Our kids loved it and we loved the fishing .
